Est. June 2024. Fully vegan restaurant serves traditional sushi using vegetables and other vegan ingredients unique to Japan. Pumpkin paste, Ikura (red caviar), scrambled eggs, avocado roll, tempura roll, eringi (king oyster) mushroom, meat, myoga (Japanese ginger), shiitake mushroom, kabayaki (tofu). Reservations required and may be done through the website. Note: the space is used for a bar in the evening so not all the alcohol displayed is vegan. Please check before going, as may take irregular holidays. Relocated from Dogenzaka 1-chome-17-2 2F, Shibuya. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-2:30pm, 5:00pm-8:30pm. Closed Wed & Sun. Last order: 3:15pm (15:15).

Love love loved this place! The staff were lovely, and the sushi was fabulous. I ended up getting some to take out at the end of the meal bc it was just that good. I don’t like mushrooms, but the two sushi items that had mushroom on them were delicious (one ended up being a take out item after the main). Will definitely be back if I can squeeze it in this trip

Honestly the best sushi I have ever had. The eggplant, tempura, and king oyster mushroom sushi were so delectable and melted in your mouth. Must visit if you are ever in Tokyo.

I like how the sushi is preset so I don’t have to decide which to order. My favs were the king oyster mushroom and the vegan meat. I also had miso soup and ginger with mine. Definitely give this place a go if you’re in the shibuya area

Recently opened restaurant. Operated by three commited vegans. When you eat their sushi you notice they put hard work into it to define such different tastes. Presentation was overwhelming. Host was super friendly and helpful. Also the dining room was nicely decorated.

They have only been open a few months (June) but they have a winning recipe for success here; and I wish them all of it. Their sushi sampler plate was spectacular and I will visit again any time I am in Tokyo.

My wife had been jonesing for vegan sushi while we’re in Japan. We searched for a place and came across Vegan Sushi Tokyo! I’m so glad we did! Everything was delectable! We ordered the 10 piece assortment each and wolfed down every piece. My wife ordered refills and before I could get my camera out to take a photo she had polished them off.

We stopped in just before going to the National Garden. It is a tiny spot with an even tinier menu. We had a set meal and every piece of sushi was fantastic.

The server spoke great English and was very friendly. Give this place a visit - it is worth the trip even if you have to go out of your way.

This place is super conveniently located near Dogenzaka in Shibuya and I was received by a very friendly staff. Finally I could try some creative sushi options in Japan, rather than being stuck with cucumber maki.

Read moreI had the ‘full set’ plate which comes with 3 different vegan sake to sample, a cold miso soup, the 10 piece sushi plate, some pickled ginger to cleanse the pallet and a seasonal vanilla ice cream to finish… everything about it was amazing!
The staff are also fab, very friendly and welcoming, I really can’t recommend this place enough you just have to come a try it!

Read moreA set course consisting of miso soup and 10 different pieces, from the very familiar to a little unusual; it’s more of an experience than just a meal. If I was in Australia I would pay an eye-watering amount for such a thing, but the total with a drink was around 30AUD.
Also, the lady who served me was lovely and spoke great english. I hope they keep on running long enough to expand their menu, so I can come here again in the future.

Read moreLocation is very convenient, side street off the buzz of Shibuya. Restaurant is on the second floor with a bar-like atmosphere.
Only one 10-piece sushi plate on offer, but with amazing variety of flavors, that was all we needed. There was green tea and sake on offer, both of which were very good.
So happy we found this place, as it had opened very recently. Hope they can expand soon!
