Excellent Arab Food with Tiramisù Dessert - Edit
We chose this vegan Egyptian restaurant for lunch in Paris. It was beautifully decorated, with incredible Arabic music playing in the background to accompany us at lunch. Here's how it works: you can order either at the cash machine or at the counter. The dish I chose was "Lentil lasagne". Super tasty food, well seasoned, great temperature. And we were very well looked after, very warm and friendly staff. The waiter communicated well in English. And to finish, we ordered a vegan "tiramisù", one of our favorite desserts. Fair prices. It was an incredible experience!

we went to eat lunch here and tried a few different things from the menu.
Read morethe falafurger plus was good, we chose vegan halloumi as an add-on, but my non-veg companion said it wasn't very authentic. next we had a feta salad which made for a nice change compared to all the carb-loaded meals we had before. personally, i liked the taco the most, which was filled with beans, tomatoes, and fries. it was so much we could barely finish it.
for 3 meals and 3 beverages, we paid something around 40€.

Kind of confused by the good reviews… I tried their traditional dish which was overcooked pasta overcooked rice, some lentils chickpeas and raw tomato sauce… I guess it’s nice to have vegan french tacos but they are bland cheesy potatoey blocks… not my taste personally

The staff was very nice and kind and the food was delicious. We went one time and decided to come again the next day because everything was really good and the prices were reasonable. It is also very well located near Notre Dame and the Panteon and I liked the cozy calm anvience. Overall would recomend to everyone (I went to eat with non vegans and they also enjoyed the food a lot).

Read moreI ordered a taco and a tiramisu. The tiramisu I didn't really like because, for my personal taste, it needed more sugar and had too much chantilly. But the taco, damn, honestly it was really good, very interesting. It was my first time trying it, so I didn't know what to expect, but it's like a lot of tastes mixed together. 🤤 Honestly, I was not disappointed and I'll definitely try it again when I visit Paris.

It’s so nice to finally have a chance to try the notorious French taco, albeit in Egyptian form. Be advised they’re pretty huge. The feta is your best bet on filling, for flavor variety. There’s already potato in there so the potato croquette doesn’t add much. The grape leaves are lovely and differently flavored from others I’ve had.

Stopped in for a snack and was warmly met by staff. It’s all very modern and you order on a screen and your food is brought out to you. The paella hybrid macaroni dish was good but needed a little kick - the American in me wanted to ask for Ketchup but the didn’t dare. We’re in Paris after all!

Veganil offers fast and traditional Egyptian cuisine, entirely vegan. The portions are very generous, the service is fast and the staff very friendly. I was lucky enough to try their lentil lasagne (a real treat), a polenta burger and fritters, and their tiramisu. Everything was excellent. I recommend a visit to this restaurant, which is also very reasonably priced.

Seriously great spot for quick vegan food in the Latin Quarter. Food was excellent and service was great! This place offers takeaway and touch-screen ordering for extra ease. Completely vegan and quite affordable as well so I would highly recommend Veganil on your visit to Paris!

Nice Egyptian place and a chance for vegans to try the infamous "French tacos" - Edit
As a French vegan, I haven't been able to try a "French tacos" until I visited this place during a short stay in Paris. There were more appetising Egyptian things on the menu and I regret missing out on the chance to try something else. A "French tacos", a recent fast-food trend in France, is a wrap containing fries and sauce and in this case, fava beans. I happen to like fava beans but my girlfriend hates them (they have a thick skin and taste stronger than most beans) so I don't think that it is for everyone. But you never know until you try! Nice new vegan place with an appealing Egyptian theme and I hope I can make a second visit next time to taste the Egyptian dishes.

Went with some friends and had a wonderful meal, their Kochari and fowl were really good, and the lasagna and tacos were nice and filling! Very warm welcome from the staff as well who we chatted up a bit before leaving

Great egyptian-inspired vegan food. Had the lasagna then when chatting up the owner discovered they have the magical Egyptian pasta dish Kochary... My favorite food from my 3-month stay in Cairo. Will have to come back. They also have vegan M&Ms (plain and peanut) for sale! Bonus!!

For €45, we got 3 lasagnas (huge and could almost have fed two!), 1 salad and 1 chickpea fries and a drink. Great value for money. The lasagna was lukewarm at best but very tasty and service was good
