Plenty of choice and seasonal inspired tasteful and creamy Italian dishes. Great plant-based cheese! Very friendly welcome, personal and warm approach. Almost obligatory if you're in Antwerp and looking for a plant-based place to eat!

I entered, not expecting such a small intimate place. Either way, I sat down and immediately got welcomed by the lovely owner. I took a long time deciding what I wanted, because I didn't know what to expect from some things, and sadly didn't see anything with pesto or maybe a lasagna which I saw in pictures before and would have fancied a lot.
Read moreAfter she kindly reassured me that I had all the time in the world, I went with the antipasto for 1 person and some tomato sauce spaghetti with bacon on it. Then I got up to look a little around the restaurant/the small shop and spottet a sign saying "Weekly special: Carbonara" so I excitedly asked if she had that as well, and she apologised and told me how it's for next week. "But, would you rather have carbonara? It's the same work for me" she then said, and I was soo glad! "Ok I'll make it, especially for you"
So I ordered carbonara with gnocchi, which I think she forgot, but it was alright. I'm just not a big fan of white pasta, but grateful that I already got an extra wish.
Now for the antipasto - wow. Incredible. So many different, unique flavours on one plate. The black garlic cheese is TO DIE for!!! Together with the spicy "honey" mustard sauce!!! I only wasn't a big fan of the spicy thick sausage slice, everything else was unbelievable.
Veeeery unfortunately, I didn't like the carbonara. It was so thick, I couldn't pull the noodles apart without them ripping and I needed a lot of salt and pepper. The bacon bits weren't authentic either. It would have been perfect with more flavour and waaaay thinner!
I still HAD to get the tiramisu, which was one of the best vegan ones I've ever had! There's some sweet yellow cream in it, custard? Not sure. The white "mascarpone" itself isn't sweet but feels very light and the cake is soft and tasty.
Overall, this was an outstanding experience. I spent almost two hours in there, sometimes engaging with the group of 4 people at the table infront of me. The whole vibe was so homely and safe. I spent 45€, 50 with tip. I would 100% visit again and try other stuff on the menu as well. Thank you to this incredible owner!!!

Spaghetti was absolute creamy topper! Het voorgerecht was bellissimo mama mia cappuccino. Scaloppine is ook zeker een aanrader 10/10 Espresso & dopio met vegan chocolat chip cookies waren de kers op de taart voor ons. De eigenaars gaan de marathon van Antwerpen winnen. Zij hielden stevig de pas erin! 🤌

Een van de beste vegan restaurants waar we de afgelopen jaren gegeten hebben. Heerlijk eten en voor bijna alles heeft ze een versie zonder gluten. Grace zelf (die alles alleen doet) straalt echt trots en enthousiasme over haar eten uit.

Grace is lovely. She puts in so much love in the food, the menu keeps changing because she loves to try new stuff. It was lovely, from the antipasto to the wine to the tiramisu and cookies at the end. This is a 6 star restaurant🙂

Siamo andati in questo locale e abbiamo mangiato benissimo. Eravamo in tre e abbiamo preso un tagliere misto da condividere dove c'erano affettati buonissimi, formaggi con un'ottima confettura ai fichi, focaccine, polpette di pane ottime e tantissime altre delizie. In seguito il mio compagno ha preso la pasta cacio e pepe, suo padre la pasta con le melanzane e io l arancino. Era tutto superlativo e cucinato benissimo. Abbiamo accompagnato i piatti con della birra analcolica della baladin e del rosso per il mio compagno. L' atmosfera è di casa, la proprietaria è calorosa, accogliente, consiglia abbinamenti e piatti che può preparare in base alle esigenze personali. Ci siamo trovati molto bene e abbiamo apprezzato tutto! Se siete in zona dovete assolutamente fare un salto anche solo per un bicchiere di vino e qualcosa da sgranocchiare! Vi troverete benissimo!

You can eat inhouse or order a portion and take the food away. The menu is rather small but everyday there are a lot of suggestions.

The creamy tiramisu as dessert is also a winner.
Nice detail: the sodas are imported from Italy to give you a real Italian experience.

A wonderful vegan italian experience - Edit
We felt warmly welcome by Grace. Her food is fresh and original Italian style. Both the oricchiette and the caponata were so tasty. The tiramisu is overwhelming and the icecream with amarena is great too. We had a nice chat with Grace. I fully recommend her restaurant 👍😀🥬

Vorige week voor het eerst keer naar Vegataalfood By Grace geweest. Toen ik binnenkwam voelt me ineens in Italië , prachtige kleuren en Italiaanse gerechten spraak me zeker aan . Verse ingrediënten, bijzondere smaken en werd ik door de eigenaresse super verwend .
