Incredible food in a peaceful vegan haven - Edit
Just go there and ask them for dinner, it's worth coming all the way here for the food alone. You will spend the most peaceful night in a calm house surrounded by the forest and run by the kindest couple. The room was quite small / rudimentary, but to be honest it was also relatively cheap.
Read moreNote: I would definitely recommend renting a car to come there. Also, Yamanakako is a beautiful place with stunning views on mount Fuji from the lake.

Peaceful vegan hotel - Edit
Vegan guesthouse with views on Fuji and on request you can get a 5 course vegan dinner and breakfast. Ran by a lovely japanese couple, the vibe is very peaceful and restful. Cannot recommend enough in the Fuji area, we walked from the bus stop (30 mins) so you don't need a car to visit.
