Veggie Grill is great! - Edit
As a new vegan, this restaurant is one of my favorites, since it's filled with familiar choices, like burgers, than have been veganized : ) The meat substitutes have a nice flavor & texture, and have a chargrilled taste that left my meat-eating husband saying he liked the dish, and would have it again! Another plus, everything offered here is 100% vegan, even the wonderful desserts, so no rooting through the menu for eggs or dairy, or the need to modify what I order!

My husband and I ate at the veggie grill a couple of days ago, and I must say that it was mighty tasty. Surprisingly enough, what impressed us the most was not the food, but all the table room and seating available. It's a great place to take younger children and not feel uncomfortable or cramped. We had our 1-year-old daughter with us when we went, and she enjoyed the children's meal. A+! Also, I loved that they do not offer any soft drinks at this joint.

We’re staying for a few nights at a nearby hotel so we’ve visited a few times and have had a variety of salads, bowls, etc.
Read moreI particularly enjoyed the Caesar Salad, something I miss eating from my pre-vegan life. The Turkey Pot Pie is fantastic, too, available as a new menu item. The chocolate parfait is the chocolate I need.
Because it’s fast food, mistakes are made which is why I gave them 4 stars: the salads preps will often forget an ingredient or two, the turkey pot pie was cold in the middle, and the bowls sometimes need more sauce.

Dependably yummy! Visiting LA and looking for a quick, reasonably priced vegan meal? I am always pleased with how Veggie Grill delivers. Had the Sonoran bowl with tofu and it was filling and delicious. If you feeling indulgent, add the buffalo cauliflower bites — super yum!

Read moreFarmhouse bowl- 4/5. This was a much better combination of flavors than I was expecting, especially the roasted pepper sauce! The only part I wasn’t crazy about was the broccoli mash.
Buffalo wings- 5/5. The texture and flavor of these “boneless chicken wings” are amazing. I would definitely order these again.
BBQ pulled pork sandwich- 2.5/5. I personally don’t like the jerky-like texture of the “pork”, and the sauce was very sweet. Not really a big fan of this one but altogether as a sandwich it wasn’t too bad.
I’m so happy this place exists though, it’s about time a purely vegan burger joint became a popular chain.

I always love coming to a Veggie Grill! They are fast, affordable, and healthy(ish). Got the steakhouse burger with lentil soup and my bf got the Santa Fe burger with fries and basil tomato soup. The steakhouse burger and lentil soup were great! The only thing that was meh was the basil tomato soup - didn’t have a lot going on, wouldn’t recommend it.

Veggie Grill is our favorite! Our new fav dish is the barbacoa torta, the meat is fantastic and super flavorful. Recently tried the seasonal whole earth bowl which was surprisingly very filling and tasty. Usually we get buffalo wings in some capacity- they’re some of the best wings we’ve found in the whole country.

I travel often to LA for work. I always try to hit a vegan restaurant for dinner after the work day before heading back to the airport. I'm happy to have found The Veggie Grill on this trip because it's a perfect location for my purposes. I am a vegan Celiac, so it can be tricky to find great food. I had the Beyond burger on a gf bun with Mac and cheese on the side and cucumber mint limeade. The burger was perfectly cooked and I was impressed with the soft texture of the bun. Not crumbly at all. The Mac and cheese was just ok. I'll try a different side next time. The gf options are marked on the menu and they have a separate list behind the counter too. I'll be back in LA in a few weeks and I'll be stopping by here again for dinner.

Tried this restaurant during my layover and the food was very good. Had the beyond burger, fries and buffalo wings. Was blown away with how similar the food tastes to their “meat” counterparts. Hope to visit again if/when I come back to LA.

Really the only restaurant that has thoughtfully organized the whole menu and restaurant. There are calorie listings, protein listings, organic designations, and a description of restaurant policy with meat and vegetable oils. Good for non-vegetarians too

For my first time here, I got the masala bowl. The kale was perfectly cooked and the seasoning was terrific for the whole dish. It came with a side of white sauce, similar to tartar sauce in consistency and tanginess, which was delicious and worked well with the dish.

I drove past this place & decided to get some take out... I got the "Chickin & Fries" for my kids & they LOVED the "chickin"... the fries not so much & the carrot cake no so much, but we are recently Vegan so it could be they are just getting used to the taste... I had the Mac & Cheese for the first time since being Vegan & after adding a lil salt it was BOMB! Definitely coming back to this place...

Read moreVeggie Grill is a good option when you're hungry and in a hurry, they offer burgers, sandwiches, tacos, salads and appetizers. They also have a seasonal menu. They recently introduced the Beyond Meat burger.
I prefer the whole foods dishes like the tempeh Burger, the portobello burger and the salads, I'm not a fan of processed foods.
