BEST FOOD

This place is truly amazing vegan food, great service and cute location. We got the egg rolls and edamame as an appetizer and it was so tasty. Then for entrees got orange chicken and teriyaki chicken. Must say both were unreal but teriyaki chicken was better. Must go!!!!! Parking is in the back!

veggie house

One of the best in all Los Angeles. Food is good and a steal as far as vegan lunch goes. I always get the bean sprout & mushroom stir fry a little salty but not so bad if you take it out of the broth. Good vibes and parking in the back down the alley at the end of bahram.

A Serendipitous Dining Experience!

My girlfriend and I were killing time preparing to pick someone up at the airport and decided to visit the Hollywood sign. The idea was to grab a quick bit to eat, then sit below the sign and enjoy a meal before heading off. The issue we were having was the fact that it was Christmas Eve. and very few places were opened and being that we are both vegan, we believed our chances were slim to none. Then as we exited Barham Ave. and turned onto Cahuenga Ave., we saw a tiny little place called "VEGGIE HOUSE!" Could we be this fortunate to not only find a restaurant that was opened, but a vegan-friendly restaurant? We parked in the back parking lot and walked down the stairs to this wonderfully tucked away place. The owners were so inviting that our idea to take food to go, was changed into an all-out dining experience complete with the Organic King Mushroom with Garlic, Avocado Curry, two Thai Teas with Coconut cream, then we saw a Vegan Chicken Burger and decided this would be the meal we would take to go, since we still wanted to eat under the Hollywood sign. After all the food we had as well as the 4 teas, our bill was very reasonably priced at $58. The food was of exceptional quality, the staff was ever-so inviting, and the ambiance was next level. We have not only decided we want to go back, we can't wait for the next experience. Veggie House for us was one of those experiences that leaves an impression upon you that transcends just simply grabbing a bite to eat. In fact, had we planned out a night, nothing could have compared to this serendipitous meeting between two hungry Vegans and Veggie House! Thank you for your wonderful service and accommodating us on Christmas Eve. See you soon!

parking tip

Great food - not easy to get to - HOWEVER - here's a tip: there's an alley right at the Barham light that leads to a tiny parking lot - if that is full - it will spit you out onto a little neighborhood street (Bennett- I think) and there you will find 2 hour parking.

As for food - I had the green curry with soy beef and roti. It was reeeeally good. I think I would've preferred brown rice instead of the roti but it was good and filling - had leftovers to take home.

They deliver!

Authentic Thai Food

This small but cute vegan Thai restaurant has a great selection of thai meals and homemade desserts. I visited with my grandma and boyf. We all ordered Tom Kha but with variations as I dont eat tofu, my grandma being diabetic didnt want sugar and my boyf wanted spicy. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating to our requests. Having lived in thailand for 2 years this restaurant didnt disappoint and we loved it.

Parking was tricky however - its behind the building and you have to enter east of the restaurant, down a small alley. We actually had to go inside and ask where we could park as there is no street parking.

Pros: Authentic meals, Friendly staff

Cons: Hard to find the parking

simply the best around

By far my favorite place to eat. Not only is it the tastiest, but super friendly staff! Place is tiny But that doesn't effect the food. It's the best my vegan mouth has ever tasted. They even have a small selection of burgers (3) which the cowboy one was Delish. Also have wings which I'll have to try next time. Def give this place a try, you'll love it! PARKING IS IN THE BACK

Pros: the tastiest freshest food, atmosphere , variety

Good to Very Very Good

I have eaten her many times. The food is always good to to very good. Standard LA vegan Thai fair which I think was started by Vegan Express (Pia?) years ago. Thai with burgers, fries and salads. But they do it better than most.

I have had curries here which I would nearly call exceptional but it is inconstant. Their curries are always good but at times I they are nearly exceptional. Fresh ginger and maybe galanga.

I give them an good for a combination of the consistently good food and reasonable price.

Pros: Concistantly Good, Occasionally exceptional currey

Cons: Parking

tasty and reasonably priced

We checked out their menu online and ordered delivery. The order was delivered quickly and everything was still warm. We got the dumplings, papaya salad, spicy mint noodles, laab, and mango & sticky rice. It was all tasty and very reasonably priced. The laab in particular was quite tasty with small seasoned tofu pieces. The menu itself has ample options, but isn't too big either. I appreciate that most dishes are made with tofu although soy chicken, beef or shrimp can be added for an extra fee. We definitely plan to order from them again.

Pros: reasonably priced, fresh and tasty, quick delivery

New Place

Fresh food, nice people replacing the beloved Vegan Express. We had the garden and green papaya salad, satay tofu, dumplings, curry and a soup - all very delicious and reasonable prices. Parking is still in the lane behind the restaurant.

Pros: Good food, Nice people
