Good food - Edit
Instructions on how to find the place: the restaurant is located in a shopping center right next to the metro station called San Antonio. You need to be at door three of that Metro station. From there look for a store that is currently called "Branchos" and walk into that shopping center using the door to the left of that store. Once inside, walk straight for a little bit and there will be a stairway. Walk up one flight on the stairway. At this point you need to look for a different stairway to continue on to the part of the third floor where this restaurant is located. The stairway to the food court is a nondescript metal stairway. At the moment there is a tiny barber shop to the right of the entrance to the stairway. Just go up one flight and you will be in the food court area. Just walk all the way to the back and you will see Veggie Life.
Read moreNow about the food. I found the food to be above average so I am giving them four cows. Currently the meal of the day is just under 15,000 pesos. Today's meal included a bowl of vegetable soup, a glass of blackberry juice and the main plate with four different items (rice, salad, two veggie patties, and a green bean mixture).
Update September 2024: food is still very good and now the meal of the day costs 17,500 pesos

Very cheap menu of the day - about £3 in UK money and you get a soup, main and desert plus a drink! The staff are lovely and they also have a small shop right buy it selling a wide variety of reasonably priced vegan meats. It is really hard to find but one of the previous comments on here gives a superb description, much better than the one in the summary.

Super friendly staff and delicious menu del día! The menu del día was completely vegan the day we were there, which could be the case all the time. They also carry vegan meats, cheese, cookies and chocolate for sale!

Friendly English-speaking staff and a tasty menu del dia with soup for COL$15,000. Super tasty soup and a nice and light main plate, so it’s a perfect place to grab a bite if you’re in the center for the day.

Stopped in for lunch and I had the plate of the day which had salad, rice, veggies, and balls that were similar to falafel. The plate also came with soup and a small sweet treat. It was 14900 in total I believe which is less than 4usd. The food was flavorful and the service fast. If you follow the instructions in the description it's easy to find.

Read moreThey told me everything in the buffet was vegan, they did have a carton of eggs out on the counter, so maybe some special oder dishes weren't vegan.
My meal inc drink cost less than 3usd, pleasantly surprised that it tasted good and was flavorful, that doesn't always happen with buffets.
Recommended if you're looking for a simple good value meal.
They also had vegan chocolate and other items for sale that looked great, but didn't taste them.

We had just finished a day walking through the Botanical Gardens and the Science exhibits and were very hungry. Happy Cow said this was close so we wanted to try it out. After taking an escalator to the 2nd floor and climbing stairs to the 3rd, we finally found it. I asked what items were vegan and they said EVERYTHING! They have menus in English and Spanish. We ordered the mango smoothies, and both had the lentil burgers which were very tasty. For dessert we had a "red fruit pie" which was big enough for 2! Wish more people knew about this place - they also have a small market inside selling all vegan products.

El restaurante no es de mis favoritos, pero tampoco está mal, la comida tiene buena sazón y la atención es muy amable, me gustaría más creatividad en los menú diarios y pues el sitio es un poco oculto y difícil de llegar para quienes no nos movemos muy bien en el centro, la decoración es muy amena, tienen un cuadro hermoso de una vaca y según tengo entendido el menú del día es siempre vegano. Vale la pena visitarlo :)
