My favourite vegan place - Edit
I’ve been here a number of times now and each time, the service is so great. Staff are really genuinely friendly and take the time to explain the dishes to you, ask about your preferences and recommend items. The food is always super tasty.

Fun Dining Experience - Edit
Veggie SF stole our hearts as soon as we walked through the door. The diner’s interior is colorful, wild and wacky. Everything from their Elvis posters to the NYC street signs screams fabulous 50s. Their menu is loaded with American goodies such as burgers, fries, and shakes. You’ll also find many vegan spins on Asian classics, which turned out to be our favorite. The Vietnamese veggie rolls, in particular, blew our minds. We highly recommend it!
Read moreWith generous portion sizes, stunning city views, cozy vibes, and great music, Veggie SF is definitely one of our faves in Hong Kong!
Pros: Lots of delicious vegan options, Vibey atmosphere, Big portion sizes for a decent price

Fresh, tasty, flavorful vegan American delish - Edit
When the elevator doors part, step back in time entering this americana/San Francisco themed gem. This delicious, boutique vegan restaurant I was Lucky enough to find last month, had numerous options for the vegetarian on his travels. I was lucky enough to eat here a month ago. I couldn’t stop thinking about returning. Today I made my way through the streets, and the traffic, in order to get to my vegan burger.

Not bad! - Edit
Food was good and atmosphere great. It’s on the 10th floor of what looks like I block of flats (Stanley11) on Stanley street in soho. We asked for our potato wedges on the side of our burgers to be loaded (like they have an appetiser for) and we would pay extra but they said they wouldn’t do this, so we ended up paying £8 for separate loaded wedges when we would’ve got them free with the burgers and could’ve just paid to add some cheese and sauce. It was also £2 for a slice of cheese added to the burger and the soft drinks, juices were £9 each. The lemonade was disgusting, tasted like salt but they have put in a good effort and were obviously trying, the place was busy but just a shame it cost us £80 for 2 burgers, 1 starter of Peking duck (which was amazing) a side of loaded fries and 1 juice.

Tucked Away Quirky Gem - Edit
Would never have found it or known about this if hadn’t been for HappyCow & google maps. You go up in a lift to the tenth floor & walk out to a quirky wee restaurant where everything on the menu is fully vegan. All the food was fresh & full of taste, service was good too. I had soup then a tofu laksa style curry which I really enjoyed. Handy for central station etc & would definitely recommend a visit. Not the cheapest and is cash only so make sure you’ve been to the ATM, but definitely worth a visit. No alcohol is served.

Great quirky venue - Edit
What a great little spot. Interesting decor, friendly staff, and very nice food. We started with the Gado Gado salad and the Veggie Rolls, both generous and tasty. As we'd eaten not too long before, we shared the Kobe burger, a little small but enough, and the sauce was nice and smoky. No alcohol, but an interesting beer available.

As a vegan who eats ALOT the portions were very small for the big price tag. The food was really nice but for the price you are paying more for the experience.

Horrible service. - Edit
We made a booking for 2 and when we walked to, taken to our table which was against one of the side walls. It was my fiancé’s bday and she was not comfortable being seated against the wall , so we politely explained this to the waitress and asked if we could move to one of the other empty tables (there were about six).
Read moreShe said no.. because those tables were placed by each other so could be moved together to accommodate bigger parties .. She eventually said we could move, but if a bigger party came in, we would have to move again!
In order words .. the restaurant was putting the needs of potential walk-in customers over the ones standing in front of them .. which is absolutely fine (it is a business after all!), but when I didn’t agree, she cursed under her breath!
This obviously upset us and we complained to the manager , who tried to deescalate the situation .. but this situation ruined our night and could have been easily avoided.
I got on my phone and made a booking at Grassroots , because no matter how nice people say the food is .. the service and attitude of some of the staff here are way below the norm for Hong Kong.. and San Francisco!

Comfort food- would benefit from healthier options - Edit
This is obviously a great restaurant from the standpoint of only serving vegetarian fare and ambiance. There are some fun and tasty dishes on the menu like veggie burgers and laksa rice. However they would benefit from healthier options- eg substituting brown rice for white, cauliflower for tofu, etc.

Giant burgers - Edit
Easily the tallest burger you will find in HK. The I Am Fabulous was very mushy and tasted exclusively of raw garlic. The only thing that saved it was the fantastic vegan cheese. The Kobe's Favourite had a much better patty and a smoky bbq sauce. Peking duck wraps were great. Did not need to make a booking, place was almost empty at lunchtime midweek.
