Never Tasted such Vegan cuisine ever before! - Edit
These review is for those who are Vegan's and can do anything to explore!
Read moreThis is my 3rd visit in past 72 hours and I have to admit that can not find a single place where you feel to stay longer as relaxing music with chilled beer (Happy Hours: 14:00 to 19:00 hrs) or amazing cocktails (Must try Alaxander & Club Cocktail). Want to go our of AC, then they have cafe library on first floor, which is the best place to chill out.
Must try their Spaghetti with tomato sauce (Ask for Tabasco or Ghost Chilli Papper sauce) to make it more spicy, Fried Mushrooms & Num Voung (Check the name as might be wrong) and couldn't try more as they have over 60+ dishes and all which we have tried were the best once in all 3 visits. You can also try their Red HOTPOT (Don't remember the name) as its amazing, with Sticky Steamed rice in clay pot with fragmented veggie bowl.
Super!
Their staff will also teach you how to eat process or you can just ask them to understand how to make it more tasty according to your taste as Vietnamese cuisine are mostly with herbs, spices and sauces. Friendly and helpful staff!
Pros: Amazing Taste! Plant based, even drinks are Vegan!, Super clean toilets! , Best chill out place with coffee, beer & cocktail.
Cons: Not at all, They serve only 1 Non Vegan Beer (Saigon Beer)

Awful and bizarre rip off - Edit
Just terrible. I could have boiled five mushrooms and chucked a miserable slice of silken tofu and some soy sauce on top using my hotel kettle and it would compare. Might be better if you are with several friends so you can share but still wouldn’t be worth the price. As a solo diner you’re not getting out of there for less than 500k if you’d like a balanced meal of protein veg and carbs, before drinks. Google menus aren’t accurate. There are so, so many better restaurants in the area, from basic cafes to “fine dining” (which this isn’t). I don’t often leave bad reviews but this was honestly the dismal and expensive meal I’ve had in 5 years of travelling the country lol.
Read morePros: Might be ok for groups who share? Kind of?, Serves wine to help you cope with the absurdity
Cons: Tasteless , Expensive , Deceptive menu

Not at all relevant review. I think the same food you can have it on roadside, suitable to your price range. I would suggest not to review someone’s business just beca You can not afford to pay the price. Also one should ask how to eat Vietnamese cuisine before commenting on taste. On your comments it’s clearly shows that your review is only because of expensive and i guess all the restaurants keep the menu at door front with price, so if you think its not easy on your pocket then you should not trying it at all.

Why not to eat in your HOTEL only rather then? First of all, you are Australian and you guys re known for your raciest behavior. So let me find out your hotel name and send people to try your food to review. So, keep quiet otherwise KARMA will follow.
Read moreSeriously, first of all you cannot find the same quality mushrooms in your country and even if you find you, I am damn sure you won't be able make it. As per your review, it seems you are so unhappy with life that you don't like anything.
Take my advice, "be kind to others and their businesses, as KARMA always follows."

Tricky cost calculation - Edit
They also collect 5% for maintenance and 10% for ?taxes. Nobody warned me about this when I placed the order. I think this is a scam. Money is not a pity - I do not like being deceived. Attitude bestial

Vietnamese food on street with fully unhygienic ingredients are very famous, i think you should try there rather sitting in AC fine dinner restaurant. Why people just review because they found the price high but not checking what all services they are getting or they just can not afford it. I would suggest all foreigners to review only if something is seriously wrong. Spoiling someone’s business in different countries just because you dont know their culture and taste but just because of cost for the services. Shame on you guys!
Read moreEvaluator
I would suggest you to ask for the charges or see the menu properly as every restaurant has a note written on their menu and if not then you can ask.
Read moreAlso you have mentioned "Adequate level of sanitation", which meant that you like their high level of hygiene and that is what you pay for extra or can eat on roadside food where they give you small chair and table, no Air condition, no hygiene. It means your review is not at all relevant.
Travelers and locals should understand why and what they are paying for and if they do not agree to anything then can select other options which can fit to their mindset and pockets.
Rather, just writing an review without thinking anything. Kindly analyze first that whatever you are writing will actually help others or its just your point of view.

Bun Hue and Banh Mi - Edit
I liked the grilled mushroom banh mi so much I ordered it three times over two days! The Bun Hue was also incredible.
Read moreEach dish has a bit of umami, spicy, sour, sweet. It’s just all so flavourful, they have done a really fantastic job here.
The prices are a bit higher than many other places but the setting is also a bit higher class so that makes sense.

Delicious Vietnamese food - Edit
Really friendly service and the food was amazing. A couple of weird customers here, who kept on belching as loudly as possible (the man and the woman). I’ve not seen that anywhere else, so that was odd and put you off your food slightly. No one made any attempt to get them to stop.

Beautiful restaurant - Edit
We tried a few vegan places while staying in Ho Chi Minh but Vie Que Kitchen was our favourite. Yes, it is slightly more expensive than others in the area but this is reflected in their quality of food, presentation, table service, atmosphere - overall great value for money! Everything we tried was exceptional and we couldn’t wait to come back to try new things the next day. Our favourite drinks and dishes were the Iced Coconut Coffee, Vie Que Butterfly Pea Milk, Bun Vie Que, and Xeo cake. The menu is beautifully presented and it’s easy to tell how much love goes into every detail of the restaurant. The staff were all incredibly lovely and hospitable. They even donate a percentage of their proceeds to charity! We will miss visiting and could not recommend to others enough!

Nice Ambiance, Interesting Selections, A Little Pricey - Edit
I like that this restaurant clearly invested in its design and atmosphere. I had the Bun Vi Que, and it was unlike any veg soup noodle i have had in VN. I will come back, especially with friends who care about ambiance, to try more of their creations. Prices are on higher end.

Vegan love in Saigon - Edit
Thien (the chef) cooks with heart, you can feel it in the atmosphere of this wonderful vegan restaurant. This was the highlight of our stay in the city; authentic, creative and friendly. We really felt welcomed from Thien and Nhi for more than just a meal, but an experience tangible with joy for serving people. The homemade banana ice-cream is something I'll never forget. Aroha (Love) from New Zealand!

Nice - Edit
I stopped by to grab dinner before an overnight bus ride to Dalat. I had the Mẹt giòn Vị Quê which is a crunchy rice dish with clay pot sauce. The meal was simple: just crunchy rice and steamed veggies. But the sauce was delicious. The staff was really friendly and even offered to get me a ride afterwards since it was raining.
