So good! - Edit
Love that the whole menu was vegan. I got the buffalo tofu sandwich and the seitan wings. I don't normally like tofu but it was so good! I also brought a non-vegan friend who really enjoyed the charcuterie board.

Unique and comforting - Edit
There were comfort food dishes like the seitan ribs and unique dishes like the carrot risotto balls. Both were delicious!

Great food, all vegan menu - Edit
This place really has a lot to offer, whatever you’re in the mood for, you can’t go wrong with Watercourse Foods. We came at 1pm which was crossover between Breakfast and Lunch so we had the choice to order from both menus.
Read moreMy girlfriend and I ordered the Chicken and Biscuits, Turkey and Brie sandwich with fries and Seitan Wings with half buffalo/half barbecue sauce w/ ranch. Everything was delicious, the waiter was super friendly and attentive and the vibes of the restaurant is very chill. Also on Tuesdays, there is 25% discount to takeaway food, excl desserts. My only gripe with the food is, I wish the portion size was bigger for the Chicken and Biscuits because it was a small portion for the price, especially compared to the Turkey and Brie sandwich that was a bigger portion with plenty of fries. Also, the 20% service charge is automatically added onto the bill, which isn’t a problem cause the service was great. But there is another option to tip again, which can really add up on the bill.
Pros: Food was delicious, Lots of choice on the menu, Indoor and outdoor seating & Friendly waiters
Cons: Food portions differs for some items on the menu, Service charge and additional tip can add up!

Always a hit - Edit
I love bringing people to Watercourse. Vegan or not, no one has ever had a complaint. It’s one of the best vegan spots in Denver, especially for breakfast food. If you’re hungry, the big rig breakfast hits the spot. The pancake soufflé is also delicious!

Worth all 5 stars! - Edit
I typically get the Turkey and Brie sandwich with a Caesar salad and it never disappoints! Anytime we are introducing our non vegan friends to a vegan restaurant, this is the restaurant and meal we recommend. It’s THAT good! (Salad pictured is not the Caesar)

Solid choice for dinner - Edit
I wandered in without a reservation and sat at the bar. The cuisine is a more upscale version of its sister restaurant, City, O’ City, but it has that same laid-back vibe. I don’t remember the last time I had a Caesar salad, so something simple was thoroughly enjoyable with a glass of white wine. The charred gnocchi was satisfying. Only the cupcake was a miss as it was dry, but it was an excuse to focus on the chocolate cream. I'd be here regularly if I lived in Denver.

Pretty good! - Edit
This place is great, they have a variety of options to choose from. I really loved their bbq jackfruit sandwich, but last time I went, it was not on the menu. Some of the things I’ve had from here have been not very flavorful. They do have the best vegan milkshakes ever though😄

Good, But not Outstanding - Edit
Some of the dishes lacked flavor imo, but others were delicious.
Read moreTruffle fries was the standout to me.
The sesame crusted tofu was bland.
The breaded cauliflower was crispy and the cauliflower was cooked perfectly.
I didn't love the Mac and cheese, but it wasn't bad, just not in your face flavor.
I also hate that they have a 20% surcharge on all orders. Raise your prices or cut your costs. I have no problem with people making a living wage and then some, but don't play games

Tasty gf options - Edit
Came here for dinner with my husband. I'm always annoyed by 20% service fees at restaurants bit it seems to be a growing trend.
Read moreHad the truffle fries, sesame crusted tofu and the cauliflower basket. The fries and cauliflower were very good the tofu was mediocre.
I had a jasmine tea as well and asked for a to go cup for a second cup and they were more than willing to offer this - excellent service. Nice and clean establishment.

Yaaa everyone go here. I get annoyed when vegan restaurants try to make political statements in their decor, but thats just me. The food is fire tho soooo fire oh yeaahhh. Mid expensive.

Really great spot! - Edit
Cool atmosphere, great drinks and food! The mac and cheese is some of the best I've had, and the Cuban sandwich was incredible. Tried to sweet potato and carrots arancini as well, very cool dish. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Denver

Nice vibe but missing the zing - Edit
definitely a nice establishment and I ate well but the space isn’t as cosy as other Denver places. I had the pastrami on rye but it was missing any zing from horse radish so kinda fell flat as a pastrami sandwich. Carrot beer was a nice experiment.

Pretty average - Edit
The Milkshakes and pretzels are really good. I enjoy their vegan cheese they make, but everything else I’ve tried fell short. I don’t think it lives up to the hype at all, especially for the price. I won’t go out of my way to come here, but it’s nice if I’m in the area.

Truly everything I’ve had here has been incredibly filling and delicious! I get so excited to bring my friends/ family to try the food here. My go to is always Seitan wings w/ truffle fries! Although their Cuban is runner up.

The Perfect Vegan Restaurant - Edit
I loved how I could wake up in my hotel near the 16th street mall and walk over to Watercourse Foods. I had the Big Rig breakfast which was delicious! Great service, perfect space. The baked items are great too. It is very easy to understand how this place is so highly rated!

Doesn't Live Up to the Hype - Edit
I ordered the Big Rig and was very underwhelmed. The seitan had a nice texture, but not much flavor. They were out of the breakfast potatoes and had to substitute french fries. My friend got the breakfast empanadas and was also not impressed. It's disappointing because this place had been hyped up for me by my non-vegan friends as a great place to eat.

Great spot - Edit
We ordered the oyster Po boy & the Cubano. Love that everything is vegan! Didn't expect the Po boy to be that spicy, it was a good level though. The Cubano was extremely pickle mustard heavy in flavor. Before leaving I ordered a molasses cookie and I didn't notice it was GF. I was not a fan, it tasted very chalky & dry. Seems to usually be a pretty busy spot.

The restaurant is a really nice spot. The interior is unique, with old western decor as well as local art lining the walls.
Read moreWe were there during happy hour which meant 3$ pints of beer and 6$ the glass of wine.
We had the Turkey Brie sandwich, nachos and a small Cesar salad.
It was all good, but the sandwich was amazing! The house made seitan and brie were absolutely perfect.
Service was very friendly and quick.

Best Vegan Food We Had In Denver - Edit
So, it's probably fair to say that vegan food suffers from a lack of great breakfast options in the traditional sense, like things that replace omelets, etc. ... But Watercourse definitely breaks that curse! Everything we got was fantastic, they have exceptional deli like ingredients, as well as wonderful fancier and delicate offerings like frittatas! Their in-house made meats and cheeses are amazing, I only wish we could have explored and tried out more of them.
