WANT to love this place but can't. - Edit
I have eaten here numerous times as I have stayed at the adjoining hotel numerous times & the IDEA of the place is amazing & exactly what a vegan could want in Cebu - or anywhere really!... But. Everything I've tried (except the ice creams) - and the list is extensive - is so bland it's borderline tasteless served to you by absentee staff whom you usually have to approach to place an order & then remind them when they forget about it. I constantly keep trying new menu items (& I suppose still will!) but I'm consistently disappointed every meal.

Food alright, bad service - Edit
Unfortunately my experience here wasn't that great. No one would take my order so I had to get up. I have tried some of their pastries/cakes but was not blown away by the taste. It definitely was not very special although I love these kinds of healthy foods. So overall I am disappointed about this place which has such good reviews.

The Best Vegan Restaurant in Cebu - Edit
Wellnessland is a pure vegan cafe. They no longer use honey and the opening time has changed to 7am. They have a wide range of vegan food; cooked and raw and a variety of health boosting juices. It is integrated within a wellness and a wholeness facility. The food is healthy with high quality ingredients, with most being organic. The recipes are tasty and it is the most reasonably priced vegan cafe in the city. The staff are all wonderful and friendly.

Accomodation is available in the boutique eco-guesthouse providing retreat facilities and a med-spa.
There are weekly yoga classes and other events such as detox days and guest speakers.
It is a sanctuary for learning, wellness and wholeness. Dr Romy Paredes and his team are paving the way to empower people to choose looking after their health themselves in a holistic way.

Wide variety of food, mostly vegan, good prices, friendly staff. Also the place treats patients with alternative medicine, sells different higiene productos plant-based made in Philippines as well as packed vegan food and nutritional supplements. Plus they have a guest house right in front, although no so cheap.

The aim of Wellnessland is clearly health, and not veganism. However, of all vegetarian restaurants I visited in Cebu, this is definitely the most vegan (no eggs and dairy), the only non-vegan product still used being honey in some deserts and vinaigrette.
