Wish to come back - Edit
Once you enter Wholesome, you see a large seating area and to the left there is the counter filled with baked goods. Behind the counter is a large kitchen. I wanted to try everything but I already had lunch so I only ordered a pound cake. They said it was made from peanut shaped pumpkin, so I assume it's butternut squash. It was light yet flavorful. I liked it. The coffee was good too.

Happy with the taste - Edit
Neighborhood full of cute cafes and shops so I was happy that there was something vegan as well.
Read moreThey have different beverages in the menu and as well a lot of baked stuff
The gluten-free stuff is marked as well.
The interior is rather specific but I did not mind it.
I got a tart for 8,500, so more on the pricey side but it was really tasty, a bit salty but delicious
Pros: Good tart
Cons: Pricey

The food was very good but make sure to check their website and Instagram on the day you want to visit. Hours are inconsistent.

Cute café - Edit
This second floor cafe is really nice and bright, perfect to read facing the window. Their tea options are rather limited and the cake selection seems to change daily. I think I might have come a wrong day/hour since they only had two cakes. The one I choose was not really to my liking (the taste was right but the cream on top was cloying). I will try to come back another day since it seems popular

One of the best - Edit
Wholesome offers scones, drinks, quiches, pastas, cakes, and tarts. Menu is seasonal and focuses on local and seasonally available fruit, vegetables, and herbs. Many items are gluten free. Prices are higher than average, but so is the quality.
Read moreCurrent savory food options available are scone and soup combo, pasta, or quiche slice.
Drinks are made with sproud - pea milk.
Can't recommend wholesome enough. The cakes and tarts are divine. Quiche is incredible but as the flavors change some days are definitely better than others. They have a lot of unique flavor combinations of fruit and herbs.
Cafe is large and bright. Staff is always extremely friendly.

Amazing bakery cafe - Edit
The vegan bakery Wholesome finally opened a cafe, so that customers can sit and enjoy their food on location!
Read moreThey have a daily changing assortment of fresh bakery items (sweet and savory!), which are produced on location. Signature dishes are quiche, scones and various cakes and tartes.
Between 12 and 2pm, they offer an additional brunch menu which currently features vegan pasta.
The base for their pies and quiches is short-crust pastry, so it is slightly flaky and crumbly. I'm so happy that we have a vegan bakery in Korea that makes this kind of crust!! On top of that, they use brown rice flour, so they are generally gluten-free. The crust tastes slightly different from wheat, and a little bit sweet (even in the savory quiches).
The price for a piece of cake or quiche can be as high as 8500 KRW, but its size is rather big. There are smaller bakery items which are less expensive.
The cafe is rather large and offers a couple of different seatings for customers: There are barstools by the window as well as regular tables for several people to sit. The interior is bright and warm.
It is located on the second floor of a building advertising for the "meet me home" project. The cafe is part of the project promoting self-care and well-being. A place to feel at home. #Veganuary
Pros: taste good, nice atmosphere, friendly staff

Beautiful baked goods based on seasonal fruits and veg - Edit
Possibly the best bakery in Seoul. Can compete with any non vegan bakery in the city.

Without doubt one of the best bakers in Seoul. This location is their main location and has seating, unlike smaller location.
