Limited options - Edit
I can’t negatively rate this place but the limited options of vegan food really didn’t excite me. It was a nice vibe but I don’t feel the need to go back.

Beyond burger is really the only option - Edit
We went on a Friday evening and they were very busy. Our server knew exactly what needed to be changed to make the beyond burger vegan. Would be nice if they had vegan cheese and fully vegan burger option. Good drinks too.

good beer and good vibes - Edit
this brewery has a very welcoming environment with something for everyone. it is very much “bar food” with the vegan option just being a beyond burger. overall it is a cute place to hang out and also be able to have a vegan burger!

Great beer, limited vegan options - Edit
To be honest I was disappointed with the food offered. They only have a few vegan sides and fewer vegan entries. The beyond burger i ordered was incredibly boring… literally just buns, beyond patty, lettuce, and tomato. Maybe raw onion too. Asheville Brewing has vegan pizza with Daiya cheese and I thought that was a much better option. The beers here were excellent though!

First Visit - Edit
Phenomenal atmosphere of servers who are friendly and knowledgeable about the beers/ales. Enjoyed the spacious outdoor atmosphere (too gorgeous of a day to sit indoors). Enjoyed the Mixed Flights (Angel Of Darkness my favourite with a side of delicious Sweet Potato French Fries). Will definitely return.

Great local brewery with vegan options - Edit
Wicked Weed is an essential stop every time we are in Asheville. Great local brewery with lots of vegan beers and ciders and food including hummus, boiled peanuts, and a great Beyond Burger. Definitely one of our favorites in Asheville with great local Bohemia vibes.

Great food and service! - Edit
Food was soooooo good! The soup of the day was this cucumber lime gazpacho and I ordered the vegan green curry chickpea wraps. Both tasted amazing and fresh. Definitely will be coming back.

Unimpressed - Edit
I had heard Wicked Weed was the best of the Asheville breweries, and I was underwhelmed. Their signature beer, the Pernicious IPA, was decent.
Read moreIt felt more like a restaurant than a brewery, so at least the food should be decent. I couldn't even finish the Impossible Burger I ordered.

Brewery with vegan options - Edit
Chances are if you're in Asheville and like beer, you'll be visiting one of the many breweries in the city. Sadly, most of them either don't have food or don't have any vegan options. We were delighted to find that Wicked Weed does!
Read moreThe impossible burger was cooked perfectly here, not overdone like in so many restaurants where I've tried it. They know their stuff! It's $12 and comes with fries too.
Otherwise, there are more vegetarian than vegan options unfortunately, but there are some vegan appetizers and sides. There aren't an overwhelming amount of vegan options, but if you're like us and just wanted some yummy vegan food at a brewery, then Wicked Weed is awesome. Great outdoor seating area.
Avoid on Saturdays when it gets crazy packed with bachelor parties.
Pros: impossible burger, nice atmosphere, good prices
Cons: not a ton of vegan options
