Each time we've been recently the food has been bland and really disappointing. Today we ordered a cashew fried rice and a yellow curry, both of which were bland and undercooked, and there were no cashews in the rice. We won't be going back.

Read moreWe checked the recent reviews on Happy Cow after looking for local Vietnamese food and decided to try Zaffron again.
There are now vegan items listed on the menu rather than the anoying "Tell us about any dietry requirements".
Good choice of dishes, really good taste and presentation.
Excellent service by staff who understand what Vegan means for their menu.
Will definately go again

I am not normally one to write reviews however zaffron highly deserves recognition. Outstanding food with pretty much everything being able to be made vegan. The best service by staff and even the manager. I would highly recommend this place!

Great Thai food in a nice setting - Edit
This is a nice place to go for a lunch or dinner. I had the yellow curry which was delicious with generous amounts of tofu and vegetables. The waitress knew which dishes could be made vegan and was very helpful. She said almost all the stir frys could be veganised upon request, which would give you a lot of choice. I would definitely come back here again.
