I’m a single mom, writer, artist and designer living in the Blue Ridge Mountains. I went vegetarian when I was 8, started eating meat thanks to a persuasive boyfriend when I was 23, and many years later got my shit together and went vegan. Took me a long time to realize just how messed up the meat AND dairy industries were, but I could never look back. I’ve been vegan now for three years, and my daughter is vegan as well. Cheers!
