Been @ 85% vegetarian most of my life however, I've gone the way of vegan recently due to ongoing problems with medications not agreeing with me that caused other illnesses. I'm off the dairy and eggs too but still cheat-can't stand black coffee!! So, got off the meds and changed my regimen. Have tried Daiya cheeses and not impressed. Earth Balance and VioLife much better. Doesn't taste anything like real full-fat cheeses But, I've found 3 people I follow on YouTube and one of them is from Montreal! She's recreated all Italian recipes into vegan and has also made CHEESES! Time to learn to make my own!! LOOK HER UP - Connie Rawsome (on YouTube, FB, Instagram) And I 💕 Gaz Oakley and SauceStache too. The kitchen is my favorite hang-out place. I enjoy creating new recipes! Love tofu and have gotten it to taste like meatloaf, barbecued ribs and chicken. I'm new to seitan and love incorporating different types of beans to see what flavors I can obtain. So excited to be on this exploration of new flavors. Enjoy gardening and, herbs have always been my savior to every dish including baking. My mother always made Tarragon cake (Slovenijan recipe) and, it's my favorite and has been easily recreated to vegan.
