Eight years ago, I came across a video on the Internet, about the production of eggs and milk, and saw the baby chicks being thrown into a blending machine, and being shredded. That broke my heart. I also saw how milk manufacturers made poor mother cows suffer on dairy farms. It was then that I was determined to go further with my animal-friendly diet: to no longer cause any harm to any animals through my diet.
