I made the switch to a plant based diet to be healthy. For a meat loving person it wasn't the easiest of transitions to make, especially since I don't eat nuts or ANY added oils. I also avoid processed foods, refined sugars, etc. However, it has been worth it as I feel great, lost 50lbs and my cholesterol dropped 100 points. As long as I can remember I would get a cold/flu between fall/winter, which has not happened this year. I'm sold!
