Eris, owned by Scott, who makes and creates all his food from scratch is everything you would want or imagine. You do not have to be plant based to adore this place. Outsourcing in every way. Ambiance, friendliness, cute and artsy, and the food is beyond anything we’ve found in San Diego and Notth county. Truly a hidden gem. Tell your friends, bring the family, you won’t regret it. The fish tacos are my fave. Perfect and last bite is as great as the first. Thank you Scott for your vision, care and excellence. Tarz, who works weekends is also a rare gem! Mahalo

Dedicated vegan joint in downtown Oceanside. Excellent menu choices. I got the bam bam and it was super good. Not joking, they have the best fries in town! Horchata was also fantastic.

This is the second time I went to this place and absolutely loved it. Ordered their Super Gyro and it was not only delicious but the portion was huge. Eris is a lovely host. We took our dogs as well. My wife ordered the Santo Chorizo Burger and that was delicious too. Would definitely recommend.

Owner, Chef Scott, creates amazingly tasty Vegan & some GF food options along with hand crafted non-alcoholic beverages (Horchata, Passion fruit iced tea, Lavender Lemonade), even has Kombucha on-tap. Delicious food, we split the Chop-chop salad (GF) & Havana Affair Bowl w/ fresh avocado(GF). Others in our party had the Meatloaf Sando (huge portion) w/ sweet potato fries, The Super Gyro (also large portion) w/ seasoned fries, Taco Trio (seitan, sweet potato, & palm heart fish), & Little Brutus Flatbread Pizza (I tried a bite of them all). Food is flavorful & filling. **Awesome outdoor patio seating that’s dog friendly (yeah) & restaurant close to beach to take a stroll after eating. Check this place out!!

Reuben: way too salty, almost couldn’t finish it. Fries were good. Wouldn’t get again unless they reduced the salt.

Horchata: absolutely delicious!
Vibe: awesome vibe and decor.
Prices: our bill was ~$98 for 3 ppl with no sides or desserts and 1 soda each after tax and tip. Not cheap but that could just be food prices nowadays.
Overall: good place overall, I recommend it, looking forward to trying other dishes and going back.

The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere, walls covered with beautiful art work. Huge shout out to James who greeted us and shared his passion and knowledge about vegan food. It was very hard to choose our food because every thing sounded good! I had the lasagne with fries. Portions are big so good value for money and everything is made fresh from scratch! My meal was honestly the best meal I’ve ever had in years!! I got to sample their chilli which was amazing too, hate to admit it was better than mine!

Idont know how I haven’t reviewed Eris yet! I’ve been coming here since they opened and have been so impressed every time. Last year we got their Thanksgiving feast as well as Christmas holiday orders as well. The portions are huge and everything is house made. Obsessed with the fall menu. their lasagna is probably my favorite ever.

The owner greeted us immediately and was very welcoming throughout our experience. He provided a number of suggestions of popular dishes and drink options - we went for lavender lemonade and horchata coffee which were served in mason jars and were tasty.
Read moreI ordered the Reuben sandwich, which was absolutely massive. All of the elements tasted good, and while overall it was a bit greasy and easy to lose bits of the sandwich it more than reminded me of the reubens I ate as a child. I think they more than did the sandwich justice here! My entree came with chipotle fries, which were definitely hand cut and had both a spicy sauce and a garlic-y, savory one over them. The fries were awesome, but not particularly crispy if that's important for you.
My partner had animal style fries, and I appreciate that they recreated the flavor of the classic without using a ton of mayonnaise. This theme was prevalent across the menu, with a very interesting sunflower swiss on my sandwich as well.
Overall, I definitely recommend this place. I'll definitely be coming back when I'm next in Oceanside.

Everything here is scratch made which is awesome. The Menu is huge and it was hard to choose. I got the reuben with monster fries and my partner got bam bam burger with animal fries. We loved both of the fries. The sandwiches were tasty but we felt the flavors all just blended together. I would definitely go back to try other menu items but it was also quite expensive so it wouldn't be a regular spot.

I wish I would have started coming here years ago. Their food is absolutely delicious, generous portions and thoughtful ingredients. Sandwiches, flatbreads, “chickin” parmesan, carne asada bowl, gyros, fries and desserts! We have tried many things and loved them all! The fish sandwich, little Brutus flatbread, meatloaf sandwich, chop salad and galactic fries are some of our staples but we’re looking forward to trying the carne asada bowl on our next visit 🙌🏽

We were greeted with the warmest of welcomes, and provided a tour of the very impressive menu. I wanted to try them all! we settled on splitting the Bam-Bam Burger. WONDERFUL! The fries were seasoned and saucy. The vegan desserts were taken to go, and i can’t wait to try. Highly recommend this place. I wish we lived here, as it would be a frequently visited place:)

Going to Eris Food Co always makes me happy. The food is tasty and the overall atmosphere is chill and friendly. The menu has a nice breadth without being too broad and the deserts are always on point.
