The house where where Hibiscus is located is the most beautiful vegan restaurant I've been. It has a big garden and it's on the city center, though in a very quite place. It was raining, so we couln´t go to the garden.

At dinner (buffet), you can choose either single feeling of a big plate (euro 8.5), or re-feel (euro 13.5, hope I am correct with the numbers), both with soup, bread and herbs tea. They had 3 hot dishes (Tofu based, seiten and cuscus with vegetables), rice, few salads and interesting starters (incl. tempura peppers and pie). All tasty , although the salad lacked some seasoning. The place in very nice, hidden in a court yard , the staff was extremely pleasant. We also had desserts (not included): chocolate pie (not on the sweet side) and passionfruit mousse, which I loved.

Ot is the Only 100% vegan restaurant in braga, amazing homemade food and lovely terrace. Free tea. The only reason it’s not a 5star is the price, for Portugal was expecting a little bit cheaper. Half plate 6€, normal plate 8€, you can only serve once where you need to fit the salad and the hot options. 13€ all you can eat. Soup included. The desert was amazing! Pet friendly (only on the terrace though)

Friendly staff, good selection of whole foods, all vegan. You can get soup, tea, and either a small plate, big plate, or endless plates for around 6, 9, and 14€ respectively. The atmosphere is lovely, especially if you can get a table outside under the pine trees.

This is a wonderful vegan establishment. Its interior is very impressive, the staff are so friendly and helpful and it has a lovely homely tranquil atmosphere. There are great choices of hot & cold foods; the refreshing tea is included and you can also buy organic juices, water and non alcoholic beer and wine.

A stunning vegan establishment in the beautiful city of Braga. For €5.90 you can get a small plate of buffet food, soup and unlimited tea. It’s €8.50 for the large plate or €13.50 to eat as much as you want. We went for the €8.50 option and of course I made sure there was no space left on the plate. The food is excellent. There are a selection of cold options such as quiche, pakora, amazing home made hummus and hearty salads. I’m not big on salads but the ones here really impressed me. Their house vegan mayo is amazing by the way. For the hot items you can choose from a wonderful array of creamy tofu and seitan dishes and rices. The interior is lovely, we opted for a seat on the mezzanine flooring overlooking the main dining room. Staff were super friendly and we left with a feeling of tremendous satisfaction.

You can fill the plate with salads, entrees, 3 options of hot dishes, soup and tea ALL VEGAN !!
All their deserts are also vegan and some of them without sugar!

We travelled to Braga for only a few hours and decided to eat at "Hibiscus" - which turned out to be an amazing decision. The service was really nice and helpful and explained to us all the vegan options. Turned out to be 85% vegan buffet and it tasted really good and fresh. After eating mostly vegan fast food for a few days the healthy options felt amazing. Definitely would recommend!

After 2 weeks touring northern Portugal, eating little more than salad rolls and the occasional boiled rice and steamed veg, this lovely little place in downtown Braga was a treasure-trove for two hungry vegans. Kind and helpful staff, serving delicious, imaginative food - today including an incredible, spicy seitan & potato dish and a wonderful, creamy, coconut flan for desert. Great value. We staggered away with full, contented bellies - two very happy cows :-)

Had a buffet lunch. There were 2 options, one plate, or as much as you can eat. I went for the 1 plate which was more than enough when crammed full of all the dishes on offer. Soup was also included and free tea refills. The staff were really great explaining everything (in a second language)

We had the buffet lunch. You can have a one-plate or all-you-can-eat option. Great to have that choice. The food was good and tasty. Because we went for the one-plate option we wound up with a great variety of food on our plates, which all tasted great, but were not in perfect marriage. When you go for the all-you-can-eat option you can combine medeterranian or asian on one plate, so your plate has more balance.
