Really cute family owned restaurant. I enjoyed my meal but wish I had tried something a little more different/unique. I got the tofu scramble.

Loved this place and felt the food was served with love. Close enough to Waikiki beach to uber and find easily. Lots of choice large portions friendly staff and tasty food! Really would return if I was staying longer!

Pitaya smoothie was essentially strawberry banana. Wrong order was received for the meal. Wait staff was unattentive. The restaurant was full so we ate on the patio. Busy street next to a goodwill with people experiencing homelessness passing by. We were given a plastic fork to eat with and no knife despite food not being bitesized. The tofu katzu dish was pretty good. Breaded tofu was tasty as well as the rice. The peace sampler wasn't for me.

I can’t get enough of this place! Such amazing flavors and all whole foods! I’m not a junk food vegan, so really appreciate the commitment to healthier foods, but not at the expense of taste. Lots of gluten free options, all free of refined sugars, and the Moroccan chickpea dish is oil free. Sometimes there are oil free mochi too. All staff are super kind, patient and helpful. I only wish there were more seating options (it can get a little filled up at lunch.) The area isn’t the most desirable, so you probably won’t want to picnic in the park. Street parking has never been a problem.

Cute cafe and delicious Katsu Curry - Edit
Quiet and unassuming cafe serving delicious food with Asian flavors. I had the Tempeh/tofu katsu curry plate and it was super good and very filling. I love supporting this kind of place and only wish I could stop by more often.

Had the Katsu plate and the Vietnamese sandwich. Both delicious. I appreciated the large portion sizes, the economical price (meal for two at $30 is not bad for Honolulu!), and the insanely crispy Katsu. Would come back to try out the menu if I had the time.

This tiny place had a ton of all vegan options which were delicious with mammoth proportions. The curry katsu was our favorite. FYI the place is quite cramped and not super clean, be aware if sensitive to this sort of thing.

Glad I ordered the katsu and the yakisoba for delivery to my hotel. The katsu had a great crunch. I ordered 1/2 tofu and tempeh — both were great but I think tofu came ahead. The yakisoba noodles had a great bite to them and cooked perfectly. I got it spicy and it was just the right heat. No issues with delivery. If you are visiting Hawaii, the food everywhere is pricey so don't get turned off by the check.

The place had no customers but I say a half of the tables were not even wiped and lots of food pieces. There were lots of food on the floor also. It was a hot day and we expected to eat in cool place with AC, but no AC. The food was fine but we didn't want to spend much time. Asked for to go box which I had to ask another one cause it had some brown stuff on it. I had to wonder how the kitchen looked like.

I recently tried the tofu Poké at Peace Cafe, and it was absolutely delicious and so filling! I'm grateful for such an amazing all-vegan food place with such a wide variety of wonderful options. Despite it being pretty busy when we were there, right at lunchtime, we still got our meals in a reasonable 15 minutes. Thank you for providing a great lunch and an all-vegan menu that's truly appreciated!

I had the katsu curry plate and my husband had the katsu sandwich. The portions were big and it was so delicious that we came back a second time. Not impressed that they charge $1 for a cup of tap water.

We went here twice on our trip. First time got the tofu/tempeh katsu and the yakisoba noodle. The katsu was excellent; the yakisoba was a bit bland. The next day we got the BLT and the tofu scramble. Tofu scramble was a generous portion but not so flavorful. BLT was alright but the homemade bbq sauce just tastes like ketchup. Portions are pretty generous and the food feels clean and healthy. Just not so flavorful. And they charge for water.
