Cockroaches, kitchen staff doesn’t wash hands
There is mouse poop, cockroaches and guys in the kitchen who roll dough without washing their hands or with bloody open wounds. The new owners don’t pay living wage, don’t follow serve safe guideline and don’t treat the queer or assigned female at birth staff well.

Terrible Vegan Pizza - Edit
We ordered a vegan pizza with vegan pepperoni, mushrooms, spinach, and olives. The pizza cost $45 after typical tip. Yeah, at's right, a $45 pizza!!! The pizza had nearly an inch of their 'vegan cheese', which seemed like coarse cashews mixed with red sauce, and was the consistency of vomit. As they were about to bring the pizza to us I saw them pour nearly a cup of oil all over it. When they dropped it off, I asked if they had in fact just poured a ton of oil all over the pizza. He said that he did it so the pizza wouldn't dry out. Now, we're out $45 bucks and have to waste this entire pizza because it is seriously not good. Speaking of waste, this place only uses paper plates, plastic cups, and plastic silverware. It's 2017. Oil and trees are both resources that we can't be wasting because a company doesn't want to do some dishes. I would never recommend this place. As a vegan, it's always exciting when you see a new restaurant opening with vegan options. This was a huge let down. I could have ordered a vegan pizza from Whole Foods with all of the same toppings and good vegan cheese for $15 bucks. I wish I would have read this review before going, which is why I'm posting it.

I think this review speaks for itself but I felt compelled to respond. This review is so embellished and exaggerated that its comical. I've seen a few "reviews" like this and they're always the same. The author always has to embellish and exaggerate to make their point which is the very thing that raises a red flag about the reviewer and their experience. Not to mention they just joined Happy Cow on the same day to write this. So you didn't like it, thats perfectly fine..but please...spare us the lies and the lecture.. .Lie 1- BTW you cant' get a vegan pizza thats 20 inches big with 4 toppings for $15 at Whole Foods, even 16 inches, maybe a 10 inch) Lie 2- We did not pour a cup of oil on the pizza, sorry. Lie 3-The pizza described is $38.56 including tax, remember this pizza has 4 premium toppings covering a 20 inch pie. (I guess you're a good tipper to bring it to $45) The pie is also 20 inches large and easily feeds 4-6 people $9.50-$6.50 per person, expensive ??). Lie 4 "The company doesn't want to do dishes" . Its not that we don't want to, we can't. There is no room for a dishwasher and the kitchen is very very small so there's even no room for dishes other than us washing serving trays and kitchen utensils. Our vegan "cheese" is made in house with cashews, lemon juice, salt, pepper, garlic. It doesn't "melt". Its mixed with the sauce. Most if not almost all vegan customers prefer this over gummy vegan cheese that comes in a bag.

I for one am very glad that i read this review, as well as your response to it. $30 for two toppings is still outragous, as well as your need to call out this customer as a liar when they are simply relaying their perspective and imput. I was very excited at first to try this resturaunt out, but upon learning that you exclusively contribute waste via paper and plastic utensils, I have no desire. If that hadnt done it, your childish response to a negative review certainly would have.
