Van die Fabulous Vegans - Edit
Geprikkeld door de grappige naam een keer binnengelopen en inmiddels mijn favoriete lunchtentje / 'supermarkt'. Gewoon lekker relaxed, heel veel lekkere dingen - eigenlijk is alles lekker daar - maar ik blijf terugkomen voor het broodje gerookte "zalm" (als ik gek doe een salade zalm). En probeer bijna elke keer wat nieuws uit de supermarkt. Garnalen zijn sowieso een aanrader, de rendang ook, en diverse 'kaasjes'. Enige nadeel is dat jullie te weinig open zijn😉

Vegan walhalla in Hilversum - Edit
Vanaf het moment dat ik binnenkwam kreeg ik voor het eerst in lange tijd keuzestress, omdat alles er geweldig uitzag. 😉 Dit is echt een walhalla aan vegan lekkers.
Read moreIk ging uiteindelijk voor de Zwitserse walnotentaart en die was echt fantastisch en bij de koffie een vegan bonbon met pecan en n kaneel, super ! Daarna nog een stukje van een pesto-kaasbroodje en ik nam een quiche mee naar huis.
Het personeel is ontzettend aardig en gastvrij. Echt zo’n plek waar je meteen weer terug wilt komen om de rest van de vitrine uit te proberen.
Absolute aanrader voor iedereen die van vegan comfort food en goede baksels houdt!

VERY very good vegan food! We ate the spicy chicken buns + the smoked salmon. Also took things with us such as sate and shrimps. Not eaten yet but our expectations are high :)

Vegan deli and lunchroom with a fully plant-based menu. I was actually a bit overwhelmed by how much choice I had—what a nice change! The strawberry milkshake was outstanding, even better than the non-vegan versions I used to get at McDonald’s. The sandwiches and pastries were also excellent. Highly recommended!

The owners are friendly and offer many homemade and resold delicacies. I especially recommend their homemade savoury rolls, swiss nut pie, carrot cake, Holtkamp chocolate pie and Smaakaron macaroons.
Read moreThey offer quite some gluten-free options as well, mostly in their freezer. Their freezers and fridge also contain items by Wheat Pray Love, Vega La Vie, Rosie & Riffy, Fervena and Dutch Vegan Bakery.
In addition, they have many homemade meals, with good nutritional value. However, the taste is inconsistent: some meals are good while others are so-so.
They have a stamp card that gives you 10% discount when it’s full (15 stamps, 1 stamp per €10 spent). However, the money you spent when using the full stamp card doesn’t qualify for new stamps.

You can find variety of vegan food you won't find in supermarket chains. Even things you find elsewhere taste different, so it's a nice place to go when you get fed up with AH or Jumbo vegan groceries.

Everything is vegan, which is really nice. We had amazing food (home made "goat cheese" and "salmon" sandwiches). Both tasted great and were made with nice fresh bread. The most tricky thing was honestly making a choice! They also had gevulde speculaas and great chocolate milk with whipped cream. Will definitely visit again!

What a gem to find in Hilversum! So many tasty and healthy vegan options. Lots of tasty baked goods (sweet or savory), sandwiches, grocery items, drinks, and more! I got a spicy vegan chicken sandwich (soooo good, the chicken had great texture and flavor and the bread was sooo tasty too). I also got a latte, and two savory pastries to go. The sausage pastry was my favorite! I also bought some vegan stroopwaffles, vegan macarons, and some other candies there. Wish I could go back every day! We lucked out because the day we decided to go eat there happened to be the first day that they opened up their indoor seating! The two people who own this restaurant are very sweet people.

Read moreSuper lovely interior, lots of neat sauces and other deli type things available for purchase. Prices were really reasonable, grabbed some silken tofu (as cheaper than from the toko nearby). We also got a carrot cake and pistachio macarons to take away and they were delicious!
Will definitely be returning especially once they are able to allow for eating in. The (future) seating area looks very cozy.

This is a really sweet down to earth place with a pretty big menu card with all kinds of good stuff: sandwiches, salads, sweet stuff etc. I had the kimchi tosti and a Asian salad with tempeh, a friend also had a sandwich with grilled sausage and one with jackfruit curry spread. Everything was delicious and very affordable too.

The location is not so cosy, a bit shabby. Few tables and hard uncomfy wooden chairs. We were seated in some sofas which was nice.
Very friendly people, very welcoming. 😊
Accessibility: there's a ramp at the front, bit steep though. Toilets are at the back. Dont think there was an accessible toilet.
Gave them a Happy Cow window sticker. Hope they put it up!
