Asante Café BCN is a 100% vegan brunch café in Poble Sec, Barcelona. Everything is made in-house: bread, sauces, vegan ham, cheeses and baked goods. Original recipes, fully homemade and focused on realistic vegan brunch classics like eggs Benedict, shakshuka, focaccia and cheesecakes. Open Thu-Fri 10:00-16:00, Sat-Sun 10:00-15:30. Kitchen closes at 3:30pm on weekdays and at 3pm on weekends. Closed Mon-Wed. Hours are subject to change - check Google for latest hours.

The menu is small, but very good. I ordered a golden latte which was not too sweet and very balanced. I also got shakshuka and cheesecake. Everything was delicious and the service was friendly and quick without feeling rushed.

Das Egg Benedict war so unglaublich. Lecker und wie das gemacht war und das fluffige Brot dazu. Die Zitronenlimonade war so perfekt. Nicht zu süß aber süß genug. Und so ein himmlischen Schokobrownie hab ich lange nicht mehr gesehen. Die Menschen die dort arbeiten sind absolut bezaubernd nett🥰

We tried several Restaurants for breakfast in Barcelona but this was by far the best. We had the "Eggs Benedict" and it was amazing. Never Seen a vegan egg like this before. For dessert we had the Oreo Cheesecake, it was mind blowingly delicious. Wow!

Their focused approach makes the cafe world class for quality, and this results in exceptional value because this is an experience.

Wish we had discovered this earlier in our trip so we could have come back. They make their vegan eggs in-house and they are incredible. We split the shakshuka and eggs benny on vegan brioche. Hard to decide a winner but I took this very useful photo.
