Disrespectful behaviour of staff, vegan food comes with cheese - Edit
One of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had.
Read moreBefore placing our order via QR code, I specifically double checked with a female staff member that our dishes contained no dairy, and she assured me it was fine. However, one of our two pasta dishes arrived topped with Parmesan cheese.
Instead of apologising or trying to resolve the issue, the male chef angrily insisted that we had to pay for the dish whether we ate it or not. He first claimed he thought only one of us couldn’t eat dairy, then blamed us for not choosing from the vegan menu. We had explicitly checked with staff beforehand, so why were we being blamed for their failure?
What made it even worse was his dismissive attitude. He acted as though we were at fault and showed absolutely no intention of taking responsibility.
Mistakes happen, but blaming customers and treating them with such disrespect is unacceptable. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Few options but be cautious - Edit
Ordered the mushroom spaghetti from the ‘vegan’ menu but it came with Parmesan which typically isn’t even veggie, nevermind vegan. The staff were very happy to change it and apologised which was lovely but it’s worth being aware of this when ordering.

Really delicious pasta - Edit
The tomato pasta here is so flavourful and delicious. Really good find! The vegan and vegetarian society symbols are now displayed outside the shop and on the menu.

Surprisingly tasty! - Edit
We had the bruschetta starter. Ask for it without the small fish ans it is vegan! Very tasty. We also had the tomato sauce vegetable pasta. The sauce was well-made and there was a fair amount of veggies! Watch out for the bitter gourd! (Or bitter melon)
