Ein einzigartiges Konzept, das traditionell bayrische Gerichte in veganer Interpretation anbietet. Der "Schweinsbraten" ist definitiv das Highlight auf der Karte, aber auch alle anderen Speisen sind sehr gut.

German Classic dishes veganized - Edit
Really delicious food. I always find it difficult to get traditional German and hearty dishes, but you can find them here. The food was simply great, the roulade was delicious. The interior is cozy and somewhat pub-like. The service was friendly, but a little understaffed. I found it a pity that desserts were already out in the evening, but this was only pointed out when they were ordered and the desserts were advertised several times beforehand. It's also a shame that the Kaiserschmarrn takes really long. However, the hearty dishes convinced us.

I tried the “favourite” and it rly lived up to the standards, crispy cutlet with delicious fermented cabbage. I also ordered o bazi, supposedly a typical starter/cheese spread. However, it was just salad with what tasted like hummus, VERY disappointing for 10€, dont buy. The tempeh roll was very umami tasty and unique

Visited Bodhi twice. Located in a quiet neighborhood, this spot is a relaxed celebration of vegan lifestyle. The house-fave Pfanderl is a great choice. Second visit tried the Tempeh remoulade and that was also a winner.

Bodhi is a very nice place making veganized versions of authentic Bavarian food. Everything I tried was outstanding, and there is plenty of beer to go along with the hearty food. Try all the appetizers, especially the one which is like a jalapeño popper, as well as the cauliflower

Read moreI had a coleslaw, the buffalo wings and the chilli cheeze nuggets to share and the gyros as a main course. The wings are the absolute burner! But the other things were really good too! Complaining on a high level: the fries were a bit dry and something crispy would have been great with the gyros.
Nice staff, but a bit overworked or understaffed - we waited half an hour before we could order something to drink...

Wir waren hier zum Abendessen und das Essen sowie das Lokal an sich war wunderbar. Schön eingerichtet, wie ein klassisches Wirtshaus, nette Bedienung und gutes Essen. Ich hatte die vegane Ente, sie war knusprig, der Rotkohl war super und die Knödel auch. Die Rouladen fand ich persönlich nicht soo gut. Ich hatte noch einen Germknödel zum mitnehmen, auch sehr lecker. Nettes personal, auf jeden Fall einen Besuch Wert. Jedoch, wie fast alles in München, etwas teurer. Ohne Reservierung kaum eine Chance auf einen Platz

I think this is the best schnitzel I have ever had. The restaurant itself is very busy. You have to make a reservation at least 24 hours in advance or else you can call on the day of and maybe get a table…I wouldn’t recommend walking in. Dog friendly.

Mouth-watering memories of my Mum's kitchen - Edit
Being from Bavaria with a Mum who still regularly makes filled beef rolls with potato dumplings, I hadn't eaten these for 18 years since I turned vegetarian. This was the first time I tried veganized rolls and I was a bit sceptical because I generally don't miss the taste of meat and dislike faux meat imitating the taste of dead animals. Also, I generally don't like alcohol in my food so I never missed dark beer consomme.
Read moreHowever, I was blown away and would have taken the same dish a second time if I wasn't so full. Tasty with a lot of umami. The different textures of the rolls and their filling, the dumpling and the choux die Bruxelles harmonize very well with the tasty consomme. Highly recommended!
Don't go there without a reservation, not even on weekday evenings. Restaurant was packed on a Wednesday evening, but our food came within 10-15 minutes.

You can tell this is popular with locals and tourists as it was very busy there! I only ate whilst there and it was so good. The vegan takes on the Bavarian classics were unreal and this is a must for any vegans visiting Munich!!

It was recommend to me by multiple non vegan people and I tried it and enjoyed it a lot. Since then I’ve visited the restaurant three times. They serve a wide range of traditional dishes. The service is nice and fast. The food is very freshly cooked and convincing.

We ordered the “cheese plate”, buffalo cauliflower and a cheeseburger. It was alright nothing to write home about. But what makes me give it less stars is it took an entire hour to bring us this food. Otherwise cute decor and ambiance.

Read moreI wanted to find Bavarian vegan food and a couple blocks away from where Oktoberfest and Frühlings Fest is held is Bodhi.
I heard it is crowded during the busy tourist seasons, but in the springtime on a Sunday they were open and had seats both inside and outside available.
They have lots to pick from on the menu and the portions are huge! I got a "small" salad and the house favorite called bodhi pfanderl. I could only eat about half of them and I am glad I got them at the same time instead of having the salad as a starter, otherwise I would have been full by the time I got the other one.
It was delicious, fresh, and very filling. It also feels very healthy and not overly heavy. I enjoyed this meal a lot and would highly recommend coming here.
