First of all, the service was really bad. The staff was kinda rude and unfriendly and they forgot stuff we ordered. The food was medium and not really our taste. The lemonade tasted just like water and was overpriced for this. The good sides were the Croissant and my tea. Everything else we cant recommend. I hope it was only a bad day because this was sadly the worst restaurant experience we had in Barcelona.

Cute cafe with organic products and a small garden in the backyard. Food was fresh and tasteful! We came for brunch and had a good time there, it was calm, the service was friendly and everything seemed to be made with love and passion. Highly recommended!

Got an iced coffee and a cream-filled croissant to go. Both tasted pretty good but could have been a bit more flavorful. The café itself looked super cute and cozy though and I would definitely come back to try the other pastry options!

This is one of my favorite neighborhood restaurants. The vibe is calming. The two dining rooms and one outdoor space are filled with live plants, cookbooks, and news about their events. High quality ingredients, high quality food. I love the cream soups, but everything from this kitchen has been delicious. From this restaurant we leave with bellies full, memories of the amazing food, and feeling cared-for by the staff. I pay special attention to nutrition in meals, especially protein and fiber, and I am quite happy with the nutrition of these plates. They have occasional special foodie events.

I was in town briefly and ate here three days in a row. Still more on the menu I would like to try, both savoury meals and sweet desserts and breakfast items. I enjoyed the spinach shakshuka (with tofu scramble, avocado and shitake mushrooms); cream of vegetable soup, served with toasted sourdough; and the curry (sweet potato, kale, smoked tofu, spinach, mushrooms). There was a lovely orange wine. Loved all of these: strudel, carrot cake, raspberry cheesecake, banana bread and a croissant.

I order the tiramisu French toast which was delicious! And a cappuccino.
Even though the french toast was really nice, I felt like it was a tiny bit on the expensive side. I feel like a chocolate croissant would have given me almost the same satisfaction for 1/4 of the price BUT it was good and indulgent and I'm all for the ethics of the place. Would come back!!

This place was a short walk from my stay so I visited twice. There's take-out pastries & coffee, and sit-down meal service all day long, with varying selections depending on time of day, from which my schedule unfortunately limited my selections. Their kitchen is very small though so it makes sense.
Read moreMy first visit I got the pumpkin/tofu curry, which feature a green coconut curry, smoky smoky tofu, and roasted pumpkin. I forgot to say NO CILANTRO and by chance it didn't come with any, even though it says so on the menu. A lucky break for me.
My second visit I ordered off the "menu of the day", which was the same as the prior day, so I'm not sure how often they actually change it. Anyhow, I ordered dhal with rice, and unfortunately this did have cilantro even though the menu doesn't say so. My luck balanced out from the day before. I managed to pick out every single piece of that devil weed and enjoyed one of the tastiest dhals I have had in a long time. Someday I will learn to just always say NO CILANTRO.
I also ordered the sourdough toast with avocado, arugula, and scrambled tofu off the brunch menu. It was messy but really tasty.
Portions were just right. I could have skipped the sourdough toast for my second meal but it was not too filling on top of the dhal.
The owner has a sister restaurant called Quinoa a few blocks away featuring sandwiches and bowls. Be sure to check out both places!
