The restaurant is a bit tucked away, which is nice if you want a quiet dinner. We tried a lot of different dishes and they were all delicious! I had the ramen and the broth was one of the best I've ever had. The waiter was very friendly and we were always served quickly. It was my boyfriends birthday and we even got a drink on the house. All in all, we were surprised that we did not have to pay more for this amazing dinner!

Gaudi&Naan is probably one of the best vegan restaurants in Slovenia. It is a gourmet soul food place serving Asian-inspired dishes and taster plates. I had a generous serving of tempura followed by an awesome pad Thai, and both were delicious! It looked lovely inside, but I dined in the courtyard watching others try the taster menus – the plates just kept coming! Highly recommend dining here, be sure to reserve a table in advance to avoid disappointment.

I think this is the best vegan restaurant I've ever been to! I had the pad Thai, chocolate tart, coffee, and this appetiser and it was all absolutely delicious. I actually thought it was quite good value as well for the quality of the food and overall experience. The restaurant is decorated in a way that gives a really relaxing ambience to the place. The waiter was very nice as well. I'd say the only downside is that because it's a small restaurant you have to book, but it's definitely worth it!

Upmarket restaurant close to Prešeren Square. Smart interior and some outside seating in a courtyard setting. Regular menu as well as tasting menu available. I visited for lunch and a three course set menu was offered however I decided only to have a main course. I opted for the Butter Chick’n which came quite quickly after ordering. The chick’n seemed to be seitan cut into slabs and placed on top of the sauce. I have had better tasting and textured seitan but I did really enjoy the meal. Would have been nice to have had some side vegetables as the portion was a little small. Service could be more attentive, particularly considering as it was very quiet at early lunchtime.

We made a reservation a day before. Upon coming the waiter seated us and offered drinks. It was a lovely, very pleasant experience.
Staff were available to answer any questions, bring extra cutlery, napkins, etc.
I believe the price was around 30-40€ per menu, but considering the quality, taste & innovation of the dishes it was well worth it!
The food was made of quality ingredients, fresh tasting & seasoned to perfection.
I’ll definitely be coming back again & recommend you try it out if you’re in Ljubljana!!

We stopped by just before the break but they were very nice to us and let us stay. We had regulars - Pad Thai and curry, both very tasty. Flavours were really mild, not like the usual asian food, but really good. Portions are just right. The place is very cosy and pleasant. Would definitely come back!

We stumbled upon this amazing vegan experience, somewhat by accident, during a pass through Ljubljana. The restaurant is tucked away in a charming circular courtyard that is accessed under a brick archway. To start, we had our two dogs with us and the owner went above and beyond to set us a place outside on the terrace even though it was technically closed. This set the tone for the amazing meal we had to follow. My husband took the daily lunch which was a delightfully fluffy bread basket, soup, beat and cabbage salad, house curry, and apple strudel. I took the bell pepper rolls and pad thai. Each item from the menu was prepared with excellence in both presentation and flavor, served with a friendly professionalism. We highly recommend.

The restaurant is decorated lovely and calmly. The stuff is super friendly and explained the options well. In the menu you can choose from several creative vegan options which are served with much love. Especially for the lunch menu the prices are very fair which also counts for the rest of the menu!

This was a very delightful Experience, it is from my Experience not typical for vegan Restaurant to have Atmosphere and Ambience on a "Haute Cuisine Level" but here it is a perfect match.
Read moreAlso the friendly Owner (i suppose he is) confirmed what is obvious: the Name "Gaudi and Naan" has been selected intentionally to show what they do: A Fusion of healthy kitchen with eastern but also western fine Dining Style and visually aesthetic appearance.
Regarding the Food: beginning from house baked Bread, to small Appetizer, Starter with house made vegan Cottage Cheese, Seitan Chickpea Main Course, and a Chocolate Cake - everything has been impressively perfect for me. Hope to have opportunity to visit Ljublijana and Gaudi & Naan again soon.

Loved this place. It was a little hard to find, but absolutely worth going here. The staff is very friendly and helpful! There a lot of vegan options. The portions are very big. Good flavors and atmosphere. Not expansive. Very pleased.

Vegan fine dining, incredible experience - Edit
We had a dinner menu and the food as well as the experience was fantastic. I will recommend this restaurant to anybody visiting Ljubljana, doesn't matter if they are vegan or not! The wine pairing was all local Slovenian or Croatian wines and was great as well. Not to mention the friendly and helpful waiter.
