If you miss French pastries, you need to visit this place. Small little spot in the city with amazing flavors. Try to go as early as possible to find good stuff! The sandwiches and coffee are also good.

Went here during a short holiday in Amsterdam. We were completely blown away by their pastries. Never had anything like these before or after! I wish I could teleport there and get them every week! If you are in Amsterdam, this place is a must!!!

Went there at around 2:30 pm on a weekend day and they were already sold out so my advice is to get there early😄I still bought a pain au chocolat since I wanted to try at least something, it was delicious. The staff was super nice like basically almost everywhere in Amsterdam :)

Read moreWe went to Margos like 3 times and it was our go to breakfast spot. We tried many of the sweet stuff and also some of the hearty options. We liked everything and the price is very good for this bakery quality and location. Would recommend this to everyone who is looking for a good baker!

We visited Margo's twice during our short stay in Amsterdam and enjoyed everything we tried! The sandwich menu changes seasonally and the pastries vary daily. We tried a crispy chicken sandwich and a smoked seitan sandwich, both of which were very tasty. We also tried the Pain au Chocolat and the Fromage Croissant. The pastry dough is incredibly flaky and buttery and in my opinion suited the savory fromage croissant better than the chocolate. The texture was incredible and we really enjoyed having a great spot for a morning pastry. Definitely a must-visit while in town!

Went super early and was a bit disappointed they don't do sandwiches until later. That being said the pastries we got were incredible. The parmesan on the savory Danish was some of the best I've had and the double baked chocolate hazelnut croissant was one of the top three pastries of my life for sure. No seating except for a few small benches outside but a short walk to the canal where there's more benches available.

Great and cozy cafe in Amsterdam.

The relaxing palette composition with orange/pink walls, old wooden floors and a plant with big green leafs made me fall in love with this place.
I had a mango cake that was just delicious and a superb iced salted caramel latte.
No second thoughts just go there!!

Amazing Vegan pastries and sandwiches - Edit
I was visiting Amsterdam for just three days, but managed to visit Margo's four times, as it was just so good. The pastries are all very tasty and have a high quality, I especially loved the cardamon twist and the cheese croissant. The freshly made sandwiches are also very nice and the staff is super friendly.
