Good veggie sushi

Ordered the rolls with fried tofu in the middle. The sushi was a bit mushy, maybe due to the tofu still being hot when it was rolled with the rice. The rice wasn’t the best sushi rice either. I’ve had better sushi in Oslo but it seems to be pretty popular. You can pay extra to add some toppings, which I did but it didn’t make the sushi better. Maybe I’ll give this place another chance and try their other plant based options.

Updating my review as of 12/11/2025: I gave this place another chance and they stepped up!! The sushi was fresher and not mushy. I paid extra to add some sauces and it made it better. I’d come back to this place for sushi if I was in the area.

The absolute best sushi

My all time favorite place to get sushi! Some of the vegan options are Kappa Maki (avocado), Sweet Potato Maki (fried sweet potato, mango, avocado, and teriyaki sauce), and Tofu Maki (fried tofu and avocado/kimchi). They also have vegetarian spring rolls with tofu and sweet potato (contain eggs). The price is pretty fair and average in my opinion.

The only complaint is that it can get crazy busy there, and sometimes they slip up on cleanliness - I've had some tiny fish bits on my vegan sushi multiple times before. This usually happens during the rush. Also, they mix everything in one container if you don't ask for separate packing when ordering non-vegan stuff.

Overall 10/10 the best place for sushi in Oslo. I highly recommend to try the sweet potato maki, which is also a big hit with all my non-vegan or even “sushi-hating” friends.
