Pizzeria and Italian restaurant providing a large variety of plant-based dishes including vegan cheese, vegan chicken parm, and bbq jackfruit for pizzas and hoagies; buffalo cauliflower on pizza or with vegan ranch dip; gnocci and spaghetti w/ house marinara; and appetizers like garlic knots, fried oyster mushroom 'calamari,' nachos, and bruschetta. Or order the margherita pizza which is topped with vegan cheese, baby tomatoes, basil, and balsalmic drizzle. Pizza is New York style with a thin crust (has gluten-free). Ask for the day's desserts. Menu switched to being fully plant-based in summer 2020. Reported closed, Jan 2021 - owner has opened Dom's, listed separately.

****UPDATE 17 September 2020*** all vegan and even better. Love this place and menu just keeps getting better and better.
Read moreWhen I first moved here a year ago from NYC by way of LA I found it very hard to go out to dinner because I’m use to there being amazing vegan options on every corner...so was so glad to have found this place. In WS this is by far the best place for vegan food. I’m also thrilled how they have greatly expanded their menu adding tons of vegan options. When my friends visit from out of town, this is the place I take them too. I hope they keep all of the food food coming.
Pros: Lots of vegan options to choose from , Tasty food

Killer! Only vegan restaurant in W-S - Edit
This place was so good. The Buffalo Cauliflower appetizer (Demons), Chorizo pizza and Coconut Cream Pie all made for one of my favorite vegan meals ever. The large pizza had 8 slices and was enough for 3 people if you share an app or salad. The pie has candied pecans on it and is out of this world. Friendly folks, order came out quickly. Run to this place!

So many options, we couldn’t decide what to get. Everything looked so tasty! We ended up getting Chicken parm, sausage and mushroom calzone, fire proof (mac n cheese w/ jalapeños and fried onion), demons (buffalo cauliflower wings, came w/ ranch), and Zeppoli. Our fav was the chicken parm, but we LOVED all of it.

The BEST! A godsend! - Edit
We loved Mozzarella Fellas before they went totally plant based, because they clearly worked hard to go way beyond just perfunctory vegan options. And also because it is the tastiest food! When they went 100% plant based, we seriously thought, "What heavenly realm have we entered??" We tend to order our favorites: the chixen parmasean sandwich, the broccoli calzone, the penne carbonara, and the fried cauliflower are just so satisfying... But truly every single thing we've ordered is OMG delicious. Super love for this business and the wonderful people who took a huge risk to go vegan!!!!

Such amazing food! - Edit
The now all-vegan menu is so amazing. When we order, we get “food for later” because we can’t decide what to pick for the meal at hand. Also, two words: Vegan. Cannoli.

Love this place! - Edit
So happy they went all vegan and excited to try the new menu option. I had the chikn parm pizza yesterday and brought it back to work to share and all my non vegan co-workers loved it. One came back for seconds. Their pizza crust and sauce is the best you can get anywhere of course I love their chikn parm so this was a great combo. I used to eat there for lunch once a week so I had almost everything on the old vegan menu and it is all delicious. Glad I live and work nearby.

The best Vegan food on the East Coast - Edit
I have been to a lot of vegan places and this is BY FAR the best I have ventured to see. We just moved to the area and was so excited to see a dedicated restaurant (go) VEGAN! I applaud the owners for taking the step in this direction so all my vegan friends please go out to support them!

Best dessert ever had - Edit
They have so many vegan options. 5-6 vegan pizza options, pasta and paninis. But you can only get sandwiches for lunch. We had vegan Parmesan but it was way to rich and creamy for my taste. Would not order again/ it needed a Marinara sauce instead of a pesto . The vegan parm pizza was great however. They had vegan cannoli, pumpkin pie, zoppollis, and the best salted Carmel coconut cream pie I have ever tasted. The vegan ranch for the side salad was also spot on.

Best Vegan Option in Winston Salem - Edit
This is one of the best restaurants in Winston Salem. We eat here a few times a month( we don't eat out that much but we have lived in WS for years.) Despite the name at least a third of the menu is vegan by nature and labeled so. They make some great meat substitutes if that is you thing, but they also have items which use jack fruit and cauliflower. Sandwiches are served all day, but you'll have to ask for the lunch menu at night. This place improves on the regular and you are missing out if you don't try it!

They have great vegan pizza options with gluten-free crust, and great salads. I think they can make the calzones vegan too. Verify that before ordering; I never had it. Never disappointed here.

Perfect for everyone - Edit
Delicious and perfect for a mixed diet family. I am the only vegan in my family. At a restaurant that offers vegan options, there is lots to choose from, which I am not used to. It was hard for me to pick, but I wasn’t disappointed. I was thoroughly surprised. Since I don’t live in the area, I can’t frequent this establishment, but when I do visit you can find me here.

I'll drive 2 hours for it! - Edit
My husband and I made a pit stop by here on the way home from our weekend trip. It's 2 hours from where we live and we now definitely have a reason to go back to Winston Salem.
Read moreWe had the most pleasant dining experience. We were greeted by someone (I believe an owner) from the kitchen, promptly seated by the host, and our server was very friendly and answered all of our many questions. We started with fried mushrooms (super delicious) then decided to split 2 small pizzas: bbq jackfruit and buffalo cauliflower. Holy moly. I was instantly in food heaven. Every bite was bliss!
The. Crust. Was. Perfect.
So we ordered another small pizza (plain vegan cheese) to take home to our kids.
We so loved this place. Seriously. I want them to move to Asheville (ahem, make it happen please!).
Pros: Delicious vegan options, Friendly , Good portion sizes!
