Charming and authentic - Edit
We got the daily special which was soup, quinoa patty, summer squashes, and Colombian style mashed potatoes, plus a guava juice, all for like five dollars. Tasted like wholesome home cooking. Filling. Loved the rustic decorative atmosphere. Friendly people.

Got a coffee and a brownie here: very cute interior. Brownie was a bit dry, but coffee was good! Lots of other options available though!

Big love! - Edit
Loved this cute place! It's very alternative, a hip and cosy vibe going on. Staff was super friendly and it's apparently all vegan. I had the bandeja criolla and it was soooo yummy! Authentic colombian food (comida andina). I also enjoyed their aguapanela and maracuja cake. A must try!😋😛❤️❤️❤️

I shared an empanada (filled with quinoa and spinach) which was really nice! For the main dish I had Parrillada which was delicious! The best meal I had in Bogota:)) The place is really cute and the staff was very friendly and helpful (regardless they don’t really speak English) In the front their is aswell a little shop attached were they sell some bulk stuff and other products!

Tamal in the historical center - Edit
This tamal was very rich in flavour and I enjoyed it very much. Banana cake was pretty regular but at least it was without additional sweetener, empana was also okay. Staff was very friendly but the cashier guy was a bit weird when I refused include fee for service (which is voluntary) because I got a takeaway 🤷♀️

Amazing - Edit
Beautiful setting, large vegan menu, friendly staff, cheap menu del dia - what's not to love? I ordered off the menu and had patacones (great with he super spicy chilli sauce), arepa with cashew cheese, the huge tamale (fantastic) and a large slice of sugar free banana cake. Highly recommend this place.

Incredible atmosphere - Edit
Nativa is such a beautiful restaurant, the atmosphere is amazing! We ordered the parrillada and it was a lot of food, enough to share between two people since we were not hungry. It was a great choice to be able to try a lot of different local specialties in the same dish. The food was good but not that impressive. My favorite part was the mushroom with pesto sauce, absolutely delicious! For dessert, I had the passion fruit cake. It was tasty, but quite dry. Overall, the food is reasonably priced, the service is great and the place is beautiful, so it is definitely worth a visit! Also, they have an amazing shop with a variety local products.

Lovely native and heartfelt food ♡ - Edit
Honors their name with Colombian native dishes veganized.
Read moreAll dishes were good, nicely presented and flavorful... but what stood out was the Tamal: incredible! Could eat it everyday and never get bored ♡
Soup was also super tasteful and warming :)
The alfajores, are a good to go sweet snack along with their chocolates.
Service was kind and fast, in a nice and calm ambiance
The restaurant is located in the historical area, inside a pretty colonial house.
It also has a little store, with handmade and local vegan products and crafts.
Only downside, to be fair, the maracuja cake as it was too dry. Maybe it needs to be soaked a bit on the maracuja syrup to gain moisture.
The dish of the day and arepa with cheese weren't surprising either, but still well made and affordable.

Pros: Totalmente vegano, Ambiente agradável, Comida saborosa

Steady lunch - Edit
A wistful building in Candeleria.
Chicha, Guarapo and other fermented drinks on the menu.
Today's menu included a nice and tasty red soup. Not sure what it contained exactly, but guessing peas, carrots, maybe pumpkin?
Next dish with plantain, pumpkin(?) and cucumber. Savory!
For dessert, I went for blackberry ice cream and maracuja cake and some peanut cake. Cakes were a bit dry, but combined with the ice cream it worked fine.
There is also a small shop at the checkout where you can buy different kinds of domestic products.
Pros: Inexpensive , Great service!, Card payment

Cute place, very nice staff. There is a shop selling quite a few things as well, including vegan chocolate and other ingredients like panela and dried fruits.
Read moreWe ordered the Kingston burger - which was tasty with the mushrooms in pesto. The potatoes with it were great - freshly cooked. Felt like a healthy burger.
The passion fruit cake had amazing taste. The texture was a little dry compared to what I expected.

Buen restaurante - Edit

Wholefood cuisine - Edit
The space is quite pleasant and the staff friendly. The menu seems to follow a healthy wholefoody theme.
Read moreFor starter, we had a nice empanada.
We had the day menu, which was a chickpea soup and a salad and rice dish. The chickpea soup was delicious, but the dish was poor. It lacked flavour and protein.
We also had a tamale, which was nice and good, but not amazing.
Finally, for dessert, we chose the brownie. Not your typical brownie, it was much drier and crumblier. Yet, we really liked the flavour.
Overall, it was good and I could go back, but it would not be at the top of my list (maybe because it's so healthy...).
Pros: Healthy traditional

Awesome, Cozy, and Delish - Edit
I loved the spot. It was tiny, but had a great ambience with lovely wall paintings and great decor. The people there were really really friendly and helpful. I was so excited to eat some vegan arepas; what stood out was they even had cashew cheese which seems like it is uncommon in Colombia (vegan cheese). I felt I could order two arepas for a light lunch, 3 for a heavier meal.
Read moreThe main dishes were unique which was interesting but I had difficulty deciphering what to order. I ended up with a mixed plate where the dishes were also mixed in quality. Some were flavorless, others delish. Be sure to ask for the hot sauce which wasn’t spicy but it was super rico!
I would def go back and would like to try more of the menu.
Pros: Vegan cheese, Health food store, Friendly staff/ambiance
