Continuing with my vegan food adventure in Cape Town, I decided to try Our Local for a late breakfast. Was shocked by the lineup and how packed it was on a weekday!😳
Read moreI decided to try the vegan shakshuka with avo on the side and plunger coffee with oat milk. The shakshuka was spicy and tasty eaten with the toasted sourdough.
Loved the fact that there is no additional charge for oat milk !💚
The atmosphere was lively and loved the open space, shared tables and decor. Great place to hang out and chill!
Pros: a few vegan options clearly marked, good portions, great atmosphere

Gorgeous venue with a great atmosphere! Staff are super friendly and vegan options are clearly labelled. I had the Green Shakshuka which was absolutely delicious.

Read moreHas a few decent vegan/veggie options & alternative milk but coffee always tasted a bit burnt.
They started to cap their wifi at 2 hrs so it’s no longer a great place to work unless you just have a bit to get through.
Pros: Atmosphere
Cons: Limited wifi, Coffee isn’t great, Slightly overpriced
