What a great spot! We tried 5 different dishes and all were so good! The fish tacos were amazing, gobernador delicious, takeshi outrageous, a la talla incredible (my husband has to get a 2nd one! ) and paxil scrumptious! The agua fresca of the day was hibiscus and was lite and refreshing. Met a guy that said he'd been in CDMX for a week and went there every day!! Def will go back before we head back home.

Y con el vibe de street food muy de la ciudad.
Comimos muy bien y pagamos poco. Recomiendo mucho.

I never thought I’d get to eat street food as a vegan in CDMX so stumbling upon Paxil was a wonderful surprise. The cauliflower tacos are delicious—“bus,” as my Gen Alpha daughter said. She also got the “fish” tacos, which were a close second. I got the mushroom taco and it was quite good and probably less fat-filled than the yummier ones, which were deep fried to perfection. The sauces added a great depth of flavor.

Another huge plus: We got four tacos and two waters for 220 pesos. That’s a fraction of what we’ve pad at other joints that aren’t nearly as tasty. I’d go back if I were staying longer.

Delicious fish tacos, all vegan! - Edit
We stopped at this food stall on the Travelling Herbivore vegan walking tour, and the whole group loved it. It’s incredible that such delectable food can be prepared on site given the limited space. I had the Paxil taco, which was amaranth-crusted avocado with all the toppings, and it was wonderful!

I went here expecting a good experience. Wow was I wrong. I got the fish and chips and it was rather small and the "fish" was soft and seemed old.
Read moreIt gets much worse. They added a tip without my consent. Luckily I noticed on my phone and went back and demanded the money back. They tried to gaslight me that it was a mistake but eventually admitted they were angry I didn't tip. Actually thieves. Do yourself a favor and never eat here. Zero stars.

You can’t go to Mexico without enjoying some street food! This was the perfect dinner for our first night in Mexico City. Had multiple tacos that were all excellent. Even my non vegan friends enjoyed their food!

We had a Fish taco, Fish and Chips, and Smores. It didn't taste fully like fish, but was good, the chips (fries) were great. Smores were a bit small but chocolate covered and also yum.

Visited on a weekend afternoon for lunch and it was quite busy, but the staff was friendly and the food was great. We had a fish taco, fish & chips, and s’mores. The s’mores were smaller than expected but quite yummy! The stand is also near a small park that was great for dog watching. I would definitely return.

Amazing Vegan Tacos 🌮 - Edit
We stopped by this place on a vegan food tour of Mexico City, and it ended up being the best stop of the day. It’s a small food cart with limited seating, but the tacos were incredible — full of flavor and super fresh. Definitely recommend!

We were not planning on eating at this place but then as we were walking by the street we noticed it was busy and smelled delicious so we tried at least one fish taco and it was really good. Definitely coming back to try the other options.

Very good Baja tacos made with mushrooms. They have pickles and an oily (but very tasty) peanut and seed hot sauce to add to your taco too. It was very busy when we arrived and the wait was a little long. They also didn't have the amaranth avocado taco available.

My family and I were nervous about the number and quality of the options I would have as “the vegan” on our trip to Mexico City. Paxil made those fears disappear. Everything I tried was not only a hit with me, but also my Omni family. Check this place out - it’s worth the trip!
