Filling option

I tried Piada last night after reading the previous review (thank you!!) and had their Power Bowl, which is vegan as-is. I was pleasantly surprised! The Power Bowl includes a quinoa base, hummus, roasted sweet potatoes, sweet corn and tomato, roasted broccoli, cucumber salad, pickled red onions and yogurt harissa dressing. The yogurt dressing was confirmed vegan by the staff and is marked vegan on the menu, along with a couple other dressings (see pic). The bowl is pretty delicious! My favorite part of it was the cucumber salad, which is vegan yogurt-based with lots of dill flavors - I’m going to get an extra side order of it next time 😋

Although they don’t offer any vegan add-on protein (only meat and fish options), the bowl is hearty because of the included quinoa and hummus. Would recommend 👍🏼

Pros: Quick and convenient

Cons: We need more vegan options please!

Improving!

For the past year, Piada had a "supply chain issue" where the vegan-labeled Power Bowl's yogurt harissa was not vegan (thus, removing their only vegan option). They were transparent about the whole debacle & just fixed it - staff said they switched to a green harissa that is vegan. It's tasty fast-casual and very filling, but the assembly-line serving apparatus is not always super clean / borders did not always look divided from meats & vegan stuff.

Pros: Large portions, Honest advertising

Cons: Assembly-line foods not kept super divided
