2 vegan options - okay, but not a revelation - Edit
When we visited in August 2025, there were 2 vegan options on the menu: A lentil potato stew and a chili sin carne. We tried both. The stew was tasty and well seasoned, but not quite hot enough, just warm. The chili wasn't very spicy and consisted mostly of rice topped with a just very mildly flavored tomato sauce, with a few kidney beans and corn in the mix. No soy meat, lentils or anything. I'd pick the stew over the chili for sure. Portions were on the smaller end. Unfortunately, the other vegan dish mentioned in previous reviews seems to no longer be served. Still, having two vegan options at such a traditional German place in the countryside is still very nice even if the food itself wasn't spectacular.

Es gibt eine Auswahl an veganen Gerichten. Der Service war überragend. Das Restaurant ist auch für Familien mit Kindern sehr gut geeignet.

Vegetarian and vegan options are available. We ordered the vegetarian „Maultaschen“ (dumplings) and got one correct plate and one with a vegetarian Maultasche and one meat Maultasche. We told the waiter and got one new Maultasche instead but I wasn’t able to eat that one because I was disgusted by eating meat on accident. We also had to pay the full price and didn’t get an apology.

Zwei vegane Gerichte. Wir wurden zum Ende hin gefragt, ob wir satt geworden seien. Wir verneinten dies, da die Portionen etwas arg klein waren. Kurzerhand bekamen wir selbige Portion auf Kosten des Hauses erneut serviert. Die Gerichte (vegane Linsensuppe und veganes Chili sin Carne) waren sehr lecker

Sehr gutes veganes Angebot - Edit
Als ich dort war, gab es die Auswahl aus drei verschiedenen veganen Hauptgerichten. Ich hatte einen Linseneintopf, der sehr lecker war. Es ist nichts besonders, aber man kann dort gut einkehren wenn man in der Umgebung ist, insbesondere wenn man mit omnivoren Menschen unterwegs ist.

Cons: Wenns wo gut ist, ist es voll, so auch hier, da , Kann es schon mal bisschen dauern
