Well priced restaurant with large portions. Restaurant is in the basement of a building and has a lovely, calm ambience. Vegetarian options are clearly labelled, but watch out because vegetarian spring rolls at least contain fish sauce.
My partner & I ordered from the specials menu, tofu pho & a aubergine bao bun each, ordered a side of vegetarian spring rolls too…did not disappoint, one of the nicest & tastiest Vietnamese meals in a long time, great service & great value!
The wait staff was very kind and they had a menu with English. We ordered the Pho and it wasn’t great. It was pretty tasteless and they didn’t offer the sauces and extra toppings you usually get with Pho- just sriracha and chili oil. The prices aren’t bad though, and the portion was 1 liter. The tofu was also quite tough and didn’t have any flavor. Not sure how the other menu items were.
Their vegan pho is not that great, the stock that they use doesn’t have that much taste. Also they forgot to add tofu so we had to send it back but they fixed that quickly however tofu itself wasn’t that tasty. Definitely had much better luck in Vietnam with the food. I think they should work on the recipe to improve the taste.
We ordered rice noodles and fried rice with vegetables and tofu. Both were delicious, probably the best rice and noodles we ever ate! However, don't order the homemade lemonade except if you really really really (really) like ginger...
