Vegan cafeteria in the city centre good for a quick sweet or savoury snack; their croissant and tartalette were okay but the doughnut was super dry and there was not much chocolate in it.

Read moreAt first it might look a bit small but there are actually quiet a few places where you can enjoy your food.
There are many savory and also sweet options you can choose from.
A.e.: I ordered the quiche with some sort of onion and potatoe a very delicious, buttery croissant, filled with some hazlenutcream! Together it was less than 9€!
The savory dish was even heated before it was served.
I think this Café looks very cute and has lots of options for everyone, even if you are not vegan.
I really recommend it!

Worse than the average in Barcelona but I don't wanna say it's bad. It's got merits, their sweet goods are often decent, but their savory dishes lack depth, punch and flavour. They are not great cooks unfortunately.
Read moreThe coffee also needs work, in a city brimming with amazing coffee roasters, this level doesn't cut it.
All in all I see Santa Vegana and its sister businesses (Vegan Corner and Santeta Vegana) as pit stops for tourists. You stop, get a refuel for cheap and then go back visiting Barcelona. As a local I do not think they offer anything for me.

Cons: Savory dishes, Dismal coffee , Lower quality in general

The food didn’t convince me at all. I didn’t like the dish I had (but maybe it’s supposed to taste like this), and my friend’s donut was fine but pretty sugary.

Many nice things to try here. I had several tortillas, a normal and a chocolate croissant and a strawberry tartelette. Everything was good but I still feel that the potato tortilla could improve, I found it a bit too dry.

We stopped here for breakfast and were spoiled for choice! Ended up with the tomato pastry, the bolognese sandwich, the ham and cheese sandwich, and the chocolate donut. All were excellent. You really can’t go wrong here. And the owner was so nice.

Read moreI had the croquetas, the asparagus tortilla and a sweet pastry. Its a nice change from all the brunch and burger restaurants.
The tortilla was flakey and flavourful, the croquetas crispy. The pastry was a teenie bit dry, but otherwise tasty. This place is perfect for a midday snack and worth coming back to to try more of the menu.
Overall it a tasted really good, though it wasnt particulary exceptional.
