This place has more vegan options than most vegan restaurants. We had the 'menu' for two. Four different entrees (rice is extra) - all were good including "shrimp" and "beef" curries. We took our leftovers and ordered extra to go.

As other reviewers mentioned, Sawadika has more vegan dishes than most all-vegan restaurants. Tofu is delicious, but it's a treat to find "beef" and "chicken" options, too. Our server was so friendly and anticipated everything we needed before we could think to ask - the service was almost at a fine dining level. This place is a gem and we would happily come back again and again. Don't waste your time with chain restaurants and limited menus - if you're near the Casco Antiguo/cathedrals, head straight to Sawadika, and you won't be disappointed.

This Thai restaurant pleasantly surprised me. On the menu were 3 pages of vegan food and there was also a vegan menu del dia. I ordered the menu del dia.
Read moreThe portions were very good (big!). The red curry with tofu was perfect comfort food. For desert vegans can choose an icecream or a coffee/ tea.
I came back the next day, ordered two other dishes from the menu del dia which were also very very on point. These springrolls are definitely in the top 3 spring rolls ever :-)

We ate noodles with vegan chicken and vegetables in combination with wakame salad - delicious! ❤️ I didn’t have time to make proper photo 😄

Tienen bien indicado en el menú los platos veganos y hay una muy buena selección. Los postres no vienen indicados veganos como tal, pero de los 9 o 10 postres que tenían, 6 o 7 eran o veganos o veganizables. Recomiendo especialmente la tarta de pandán.

We were happy to find a centrally located Thai restaurant with many choices. We had the papaya salad, Tom Yum and a tofu curry. All very tasty, and reasonably priced.

We ordered tofu yellow curry & vegan chicken red curry. They were both yellow. There was barely any vegetables in them. The tofu & vegan chicken seemed to be heated straight out of a packet, rather than seasoned/floured/fried etc. It was very tasty but not enough of it & the rice was a very small portion too. For what we got it was poor value.

I ate here twice, mainly because it was the only vegan option nearby that was open after 11pm. The food was decent, and the list of vegan options was huge! The staff was also very friendly. Interior isn't very inviting though.

Chinese interpretation of Thai food - Edit
Lots of choice with plant based fake chicken, park, duck, and prawn. Dishes resembled more Chinese food than Thai food. The papaya salad was OK, the tarot drowning in sugar syrup. The "pork" with fruit was extremely sweet, and the Pad Thai was much like chinese mi.

Fantastic, delicious food, huge number of vegan dishes excellent service, great Sangria and reasonable prices. Loved it so much!! We had the seaweed salad, a tofu curry and some other vegetable dishes too.
