Not Vegan

I used to work here and everything on the menu contains animal products of some sort, even the ones on the vegetarian/vegan menu. The stir fries and noodles contain oyster sauce and the curries have fish sauce. The owner knows this and is intentionally ok with selling these products under the guise of them being vegan.

Me and my partner ordered from Soulthai tonight and yes, there is still Oyster/Fish sauce in their vegan dishes. The taste was so strong, we gave them a call and they denied there being any animal products of any sort in their dishes. Offered a refund and an option to re-order (nope).
Definitely avoid Soulthai if you are vegan or vege.

Decent takeaway option

I normally order takeaways from this place and there are available delivery services too if you don't want to go pick it up including with some ridesharing type food delivery services. They offer a decent selection of vegetarian options, which are pretty flavourful and not overly sweet like some Thai restaurants in NZ tend to do.

Pros: Good food, Can get it delivered
