Noisy pop music - Edit
The menu looked nice, beautiful setting, but intolerable noise. Could be an oasis of calm - why wouldn’t anyone prefer peace.

Delicious food, a relaxed experience. - Edit
I’ve never enjoyed a whole plate of broccoli more in my life. Each dish was unique, and seasoned and cooked to perfection. They made ordinary vegetables into wonderful experiences. It’s also exciting that the menu changes regularly! I’d love to go back to see what they come up with next!
Read moreThe atmosphere was lovely, hyggeligt and minimalistic. The fresh flowers on the table was also a nice touch. A great choice if you’re just visiting Sheffield or want to try something new!
(I want to add we had 5 small dishes between 2 of us + a dessert to share.)
Pros: Excellent food, Hyggeligt

Strange vegan breakfast...stew? - Edit
This place is right by the tram line, very easy to walk past so keep your eyes peeled.
Read moreI love the colour scheme of this place, love the decor and the pretty little plants on the tables!
The vegan breakfast was a bit weird? It was more like a tomato stew with onions and bits of aubergine. I made the mistake of ordering this as it came with so many big chunks of tomatoes; I thought that the aubergine would be the star of the dish. Flavour was ok. The bread was the highlight.
Felt a bit mislead by the name "vegan English breakfast", the lady did describe the dish to me and it sounded like a stew, I chose it over the pie.
Upon looking at the pies before leaving, I don't think that I would have liked it if I ordered it instead.
The pea mint smash concoction on bread was not for me at all. The tofu scramble was the best out of everything.
Hot chocolate was beautifully presented with a heart!
Staffs were lovely.
Pros: Decor
Cons: Didn't really like the food options, Stew as an English breakfast?

One of Sheffield’s finest - Edit
Breakfast here was faultless, tasty and interesting. The staff are warm and friendly. You can either sit in a nice atmosphere or get a takeaway and sit in the open air amphitheater that overlooks the train station.

Just wonderful - Edit
We absolutely love South Street Kitchen and it is one of our ‘go-to’ places for a Saturday afternoon coffee. The location is amazing (we can pretend we live in one of the Park Hill flats for a short while!), it’s lovely to sit out on the lawn in summer. The food is beautiful and they always have a great range of cakes on offer. We love it here.

Great food & coffee - Edit
Delicious Middle Eastern/Syrian food, plenty of vegan options. Amazing vegan cakes. Great coffee with oat milk (as a coffee snob I rarely say this but their coffee is good). Friendly staff. Nice, minimalistic decor. Good music. Free WiFi. Good views over Sheffield centre. Convenient walk from train station. Relaxed vibe.

Excellent Levantine mezze - Edit
We had a delicious Syrian mezze here. The staff were very helpful and accommodating (helping us find a space inside when the weather turned!), and the dishes were lovely. We weren't able to get enough flatbread to mop up our hummus etc, but otherwise it was excellent. Plus - an interesting location, up at the iconic Park Hill flats.

Best Place in Sheffield - Edit
Vegan or not, this place is the best in Sheffield. Everything about it is amazing, from the decor, to the prices and especially to the food. No other place I know in Sheffield that you come out feeling healthier than when you go in, with little cost and beautiful food, I really can not recommend this place enough

Hidden Gem - Edit
Never knew this place existed until yesterday. Great food, which was well prepared, with amazing flavours. Loved the idea of a menu from a different middle eastern area each Friday evening and loved the fact that they don't make a big deal about being vegitarian. Portions were generous, price was very reasonable. Really good choice of craft bears and cocktails. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Couldn't fault the food and the experience, will definitely come back here and will recommend it to friends.
Read morePros: Everything vegitarian and mostly vegan, Good gluten free options, Amazing views
Cons: Ever so slightly out of city centre.

Went with some colleagues for lunch. We all really enjoyed the food and the service was great too. Such friendly people! I had the hummus plate and some vegan banana cake. Can't wait to go back again and try all the rest of the menu!

Fantastic cafe close to train station - Edit
This place serves great coffee (I had a very well made oatly flat white) and gorgeous Middle-Eastern food at reasonable prices. It's completely vegetarian and the majority of the dishes are vegan too. I went for Saturday brunch and had the hummus plate which is served with falafel, pita, muhummara (red pepper dip), and fresh salad. Some other dishes included avocado on toast, scrambled tofu, and broad bean cakes. I loved the space as well - bright and spacious with comfy seating.
