We loved this place! Not only is it beautiful interior wise but the food was phenomenal. Vegan seafood? Sure! Pasta and Lasagna were just on point. Afterwards we had a tiramisu and an espresso that was just like in italy. Absolutely lovely here!!

As a gluten free vegan eating out at an Italian restaurant was something I could only dream of... until recently. Spritz caters to vegan ( an gluten intolerant) pasta lovers brilliantly. I went with my daughter who's a vegetarian and she had the bruschetta and one of the pasta dishes. I had the pasta with funghi, which was delicious. Lovely location, friendly and welcoming staff and fantastic food. Even husband and son, who are omnis, where very happy here. This is now one of our family's favourite places to go for dinner.

I mostly stopped eating Italian food at restaurants since I became vegan to avoid a boring pasta dish without cheese, so it is great to have this as an option once again. Their vegan cheese had the sharpness of a real parmesan, great flavours all around. I look forward to trying more of their menu next time. The location is also ideal, right by the cathedral and surrounded by other restaurants.

I was looking forward to eat at this place and finally we made it. It was a lovely experience, everything we ordered was delicious but my favorite dish was the carbonara... I’m still astonished ! As an Italian, I also loved the fact that they have amaro del capo and a really well made Spritz. I’ll come back for sure! Thank you 😊

What excellent delicious food and drinks! The Vegan food is amazing. The Apero platter and the vegan calamari rings were both a feast for the eyes as well as for the tastebuds. The pasta was perfect, the self-made meatballs tasted like real meat. The vegan chocolate icecream with espresso I can fully recommend!

Read moreI went here with my grandparents who are quite big meat-eaters. Luckily they (especially my grandmother) likes to try new things. Our appetizer was the antipasto platter, retailed at 19,5€, which we found to be a very correct price. The vegan cheeses were one of the best I’ve ever tried, to be specific the Gondino Parmesan. Tasted better than real parmesan to me. As the main course, I went with the Carbonara. Loved the creamy, rich taste, but sadly the portion was a bit too large for me. The dish I personally liked the best, was the Milanese cotoletta. The crust was very well seasoned, accompanied with rosemary potatoes and a tasty pesto/salsa. The dessert I took was the Zabaglione, which I was quite disappointed in. It was a bit too grainy and tasteless, though the icecream in the middle made up for that. Next time, I’ll definitely try the tiramisu. When we got the check, we also got to try the homemade cantuccini bread, which was delicious! Will come back for sure, and order different things to try. I’m happy I found a fully plant-based Italian restaurant, because for vegans it’s usually hard to find something without animal products in a classic Italian place. Grazie, and arrivederci alla prossima!

Italian cuisine at its best. We ordered the antipasto misto for both of us. Then the papperdelle al porcino and the lasagne. For desert, the tiramisu. Everything was delicious. Small restaurant but very nicely decorated and very friendly service. Reservation recommended.

Most delicious food I've ever had! - Edit
Being unable to go on holiday due to the pandemic this restaurant brought us right to the heart of Italy. Couldn't have had a more authentic experience from the Italian speaking waiters to the delicious negronis and the mouthwatering food! Starting with different variations of negorni's we then ordered Calamari Fritti and the appetizers platter which had a large variety of original Italian appetizers. I want to give special praise to a truffel cheese the likes of which I've never tasted before, so good! We followed this up with the special of Cotoletta alla Milanese, the Pappardelle al Porcini and the Funghi alla Finanziera (going with he whole family gives you the opportunity to sample many different dishes 😅). All were exquisite (and vegan of course)! I cannot pick a favorite and will be back to try the rest of the menu soon! To top off the evening we tried the home made Limoncello, the tiramisu and had cappuccinos and espressos. We ended up ordering a ton of things, because everything on the menu makes your mouth water, but we were extremely full as the portions are quite large!

The host are absolutely charming, and even though you are in the bussiest restaurant street in Antwerp, they make it feel like you are on a quaint terras somewhere at a family owned restaurant in Italy. I cannot recommend them enough!

I've been looking for a vegan Italian restaurant for so long and Spritz is absolutely perfect! During my first visit, I've ordered so much because I just wanted to try out the whole menu. Sadly, I didn't have room for dessert, but don't worry, I'll be coming back😁It was so good and the staff was super friendly. I really can't recommend this place enough!
