Sprout is love, Sprout is life! - Edit
Sprout is a small, cute 100% vegan cafe located on Cathedral Green, Exeter with gorgeously tasting homemade food including their focaccia sandwiches and vegan pastel de natas! The staff are also super welcoming and friendly, you must visit Sprout!

Lovely little café - Edit
Sprout is a lovely little 100% vegan café just across from Exeter's stunning cathedral. They offer a wide range of sweet & savoury options. I tried the spicy chickpea sausage roll and the Portuguese-style custard tart. Both were really good. Their coffee is excellent too.

Wholesome and good value vegan food - Edit
We had lunch here today, having read good reviews, and weren't disappointed. Mrs HaHa had a leek and potato soup served with a gluton-free chickpea flatbread - a little like a spicy pancake, and very tasty (I tried some!). The soup was also very good, I am told. I had a chickpea pastry roll, served with potato salad. Everything seemed very fresh (the flatbread was made to order), and incredibly good value - our lunch was £13.50 in total. I liked that the menu was relatively short and simple - a soup, a quiche, a savoury pastry, salads, a coronation chickpea foccacia, and two cakes (tempted, but didn't try in the end). The decor is light and modern, and the owner very friendly. Oh, and its right opposite the front of the cathedral, across the green - one of the best views in the city! Will definitely visit again next time we are in Exeter.

My sister and I shared the salads which were delicious - the bean and the pasta were our favourite. Great chai latte also
