Vegan heaven - Edit
We found this vegan bakery in a quiet suburb, there is a small park nearby to enjoy pastries, everything is fully vegan and presented beautifully it does make it difficult to choose. Lots of savoury and sweets!

Best vegan bakery in Tokyo - Edit
The food fas very delicious. I'd highlight the "egg" sandwich, the pain au chocolat and the pistaccio croissant. The only thing that'd make it better is more place to sit

Delicious vegan bakery - Edit
Went here in my last visit to Tokyo— we got the ‘chicken tandoori’ sandwich, as well as a pizza. Everything was delicious, and they had a wide selection of offerings. Would definitely recommend to others visiting Tokyo if in the azabu area.

Te cor gentil in Azabu-Juban is a fantastic find for plant-based goodness in Tokyo.
Read moreThe bakery offers a great mix of both savory and sweet items. You can easily find everything from classic sweet pastries to hearty savory bites on their shelves.
The pistachio cream croissants are highly recommended. They are beautifully made, incredibly flaky, and filled with a rich cream that makes it hard to believe everything is entirely vegan. Whether you are plant-based or just love good pastries, the quality here really stands out.
The shop itself has a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff is helpful. It is definitely a spot worth visiting if you are exploring the Azabu-Juban area.

Cute and hidden away, but so delicious - Edit
The store front was not immediately obvious, but it right across the street from the park. There were two tables with two chairs each out front, and a little bench. I arrived 5 minutes after opening on a Friday and was the second person in the door. There were a couple of baked goods that made their way out to finish up the display as I was deciding on what to get. The tuna mayo onion pastry has a questionable name, but looked delicious and was in fact super delicious. It was still warm and very gooey. I probably should have let it cool down and solidify for a more neat eating experience. I have a couple other goodies saved for the flight home today, to supplement the sad vegan options offered by United.

The flavors made me melt 🤤 - Edit
The shop is pretty small so there’s not a lot of seating but I got the chicken pizza, the almond croissant, and a sugar doughnut. All of them were mind-blowingly good. Rich in flavor and very filling. I will absolutely come here again before I leave.

Best Vegan Bakery in Tokyo - Edit
Hands down. After living in Tokyo for 2 years, I can definitively say this is my favorite. Came here in the morning and had to be back that afternoon to try more things. There's a great selection of sweet pastries, savory/cheese pastries, and lunch sandwhiches as well. Also a lovely combination of japanese flavors as well as western inspired treats. I tried at least 3/4 of what was availible and nothing was bad; my favorite was the custard cream brioche (クリームパン). Rare to find a spot like this in Japan! The only downside was there is no indoor seating, so I had to inhale the pastries in seconds before the cream melted in the summer heat.

THIS IS THE PLACE! Look no further, this is the best vegan patisserie I’ve come across in Asia. There are loads of options, making it so hard to choose only a few things. We picked up some snacks for today and some for Christmas (stollen). The standouts are the plain croissant, the pistachio croissant, and the melon pain. We haven’t had the stollen yet, but it looks incredible.

Buonissimo - Edit

In love with them - Edit
I visited this balery 3 days straight in the row and tried a lot of their goods, such as rhubarb croissant, vegan chicken sandwich, pistaccho croissant and many others (their offer is really huge) but my definitively favourite were hojicha donuts! They were to die for! No doubt, this will be the first place I will visit if I ever come back to Tokyo.
