Serves meat, vegan options available. Thai food restaurant with separate vegan menu offering sides, starters, mains entrees, and dessert. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-9:00pm.
Thai Joint is from the same family as Plumeria, many of the dishes seem the same, but the quality does not live up to the Park Ave location. If your looking for knock off Plumeria, come here, but if you have the milage, head down to University Heights for a better meal.
I’ve eaten here 10 times in the last 3 months! They have an extensive vegan menu. I have no complaints about any of the items I’ve ordered; they’re all to die for!
My personal favorites are vegan spring rolls (best peanut sauce I’ve had), half moons, and drunken noodles with mock duck (crispiest mock duck I’ve had).
Only downsides really are they also serve animal products and their portions are smaller than other Thai places. I don’t have a problem with the portion size, though; I still walk away really, really full.
The vegan drunken noodles are delicious! The spice level seems to vary greatly from day to day though. I usually order it medium spicy and have gotten completely not spicy, unbearably spicy, and everywhere in between.
I asked for the vege leaks noodle soup spicy and it was bland although very fresh. Not alot of condiments. A bit pricey. The restaurant looks nice. If that's all you care about then this is your place.

Love this place! - Edit
HappyCow doesn’t let us leave a 5 star review unless the restaurant is all veg, but i love Thai Joint. We order from here all the time!

This is the sister company of plumeria, prices are reasonable. Food was good but felt portions were smaller than other thai places.
