Minimal vegan options and pricey

For a main meal the only vegan option is a burger. I had that. It was expensive but fairly okay. There was also some spiced cauliflower on the menu as a starter which I didn't have. Uninspired. Everything so meaty and it seems like they take good care of their meat eaters. Wouldn't go back.

Two vegan options, burger was fine

There aren’t many vegan options in Melrose for an evening meal so we ended up eating here even though there are only two vegan options on the entire menu now - the soul spiced cauliflower starter and the vegan garden burger. The food was fine but not very inspiring - some vegan cheese on the burger would go a long way! Unless they add more options to their menu in future again I don’t think we’ll be back.

Best evening place to eat in Melrose

Good service, spicy cauliflower a nice starter, generous portions for mains, relaxing pub atmosphere. Not many other places to eat in Melrose in the evening so well worth a try.

Cons: Bit pricey
