Uninspired and repetitive options - Edit
A Mediterranean vegetable tart is not a Sunday roast. A nut roast or veggie sausages would be a much better offering.
Read moreIt's no use having three vegetarian options if all three of them are smothered in sweet chilli sauce.
A mushroom in a bun is not a burger. Just buy in a veggie burger if you can't make one in house.
Also this place changed hands at the end of 2025 so the older reviews are now outdated. It was much better before.

Mediocre Sunday lunch - Edit
The nut roast was a bit mushy but wasn't too bad. However the Yorkshire pudding was replaced with a baked onion... A whole onion that wasn't even peeled properly and then baked. Along with dry roast potatoes, under cooked parnsip and watery gravy.

Fantastic Roast - Edit
Gorgeous pub with lovely atmosphere, really varied roast, with stuffing, red cabbage, sweede, yorkies, all homemade and plenty of it. Even my 8yr old daughter loved it.

Amazing roast!!! - Edit
Their roast is out of this world. You must book but the first Sunday of every month is solely vegan. They even have cauli cheese and a yorkie. The roast is £12.50. If you want cauli cheese it's £2.50. Highly recommend and can't wait to see more vegan options popping up there.
