Delicious! - Edit
The food was absolutely delicious! They had several vegan options, and the staff were very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about how to accommodate dietary restrictions. Atmosphere was lovely too, would definitely return!

Fresh and Delish - Edit
The staff are well versed in vegan cuisine. Make sure to ask for vegan /dairy free pita!!! All vegan dips are amazing and the falafel is crisp as all get out! Definitely a top dollar spot to dine.

disappointing - Edit
Despite asking for things like yogurt sauce on the side (since I was splitting with non-veg friends) everything came with yogurt on top.

delicious and accommodating - Edit
After reading some of the reviews I was dreading my dinner with a large party of work colleagues where I was the only vegan, expecting I'd be eating lettuce and hummus while everyone else was having a great meal. My host ordered the tasting menu for us all, and I found them to be extremely accommodating, including vegan pita to replace the non-vegan flatbread, lots of modifications of the vegetable dishes to make them vegan (the eggplant was a standout) and a sorbet trio for dessert (a very flavorful sour cherry!). Was it the best meal I ever had? Of course not. The modifications undoubtedly meant I was missing sauces that add extra flavor. But the food was yummy, the server was knowledgeable, and the experience far exceeded my expectations.

Hardly any labeled vegan options - Edit
I asked for the allergen menu which shows which items are vegan. The falafel, cauliflower and many other dishes are not labeled vegan or vegetarian..there were hardly any labeled options and the staff didn’t seem to know. The flatbread served at the start is not vegan. Waitress said she could bring lettuce instead…

Upscale restaurant with a few non-meat-based options - Edit
Quite a few menu options for vegetarians and vegans. Excellent service. Orders were served quickly. Nice ambience. It’s a very popular place and can get crowded, especially on weekends.

Mediterranean Tapas - Edit
This comfortable interior is bustling with servers moving food out of the kitchen quickly. Everything was fresh and delicious. The vegan options are limited but enough to make your tummy happy and tasty enough to keep your palette happy too. The service is fast and friendly.

Horrible! - Edit
They hardly have any vegan options on the menu. They did make a separate bread that is vegan, but that's the best food I had there. I ordered the falafel, which I expected to be pretty filling. Unfortunately the falafel was small and didn't come with any sides. I left hungry and spent way more than I wanted to on a side salad, falafel, and some bread.

Lebanese-inspired small plates. - Edit
To my luck, I recently found $120 in gift cards (that I received in 2017) to Zaytinya. I couldn’t wait to experience this Lebanese-inspired restaurant with my boyfriend (who’s also Lebanese). After our dinner tonight, we agreed on a solid 3-star rating. A couple of items exceeded expectations, including the hummus (which he said is the best he’s had in the US so far) that was perfectly balanced and had this refreshing hint of lemon in each bite, the crispy and perfectly seasoned French fries, and the garlic/oil dipping sauce (called toum). Their menu is limited due to the pandemic but they still offer a variety of vegan options, including made to order vegan flatbread in place of the complimentary bread served upon arrival (which contains milk). Our waitress was knowledgeable about veganism and explained that many/most dishes could be made vegan upon request. They also offer vegan friendly Lebanese wines!

Good - Edit
Good produce and really tasty. Some vegan options apart from vegetarian. A little bit pricey but it's good food. PS: The home-made pitas they serve at the beggining contain milk.

Hipster chic vegan friendly - Edit
If you like Mediterranean food and tapas, this is the place for you. If you like to be in an energized come-to-see-and-be-seen environment, this place is for you. If you don't mind dropping a couple bucks per bite of food, this place is for you.
Read moreI've been here several times, and in so doing, all of the above have to apply or, it's not a pleasant dining experience. However, once there, the servers are quite knowledgeable into helping you navigate the menu to find delightful small plates of easy to eat, tasty, well thought about food. These plates have their own sections based on main focus, i.e. vegetable mezze.
I don't have a favorite, but there are great choices like cauliflower, baba ghannouge, mushrooms, olives, chard, fattoush, hommus, tabbouleh and dozens really, of others. Ask your server what's in season and what's good - they will be honest.
I'll be back here for sure, because, it's so tasty!
Pros: Small plates, Environment, Price can be high
Cons: Vegan not labeled - ask
