Mahalo for your review! Just FYI virtually all of our to go items are sustainable. Our containers are made out of bagasse, which is a sugar cane byproduct which otherwise ends up in landfill. Completely compostable. Most of our plastic looking wrappers are actually cellophane, not plastic. Our cups, dining wear all compostable non-plastic. We use plastic for our cake containers and cinnamon rolls at times. Cake dries out very quickly in bagasse containers. One can always request it in another container or paper plate. On an island with only 200,000 people our options for packaging are extremely limited, and some we have to have shipped at 3X the cost of what a bakery on the mainland would pay.
