I’ve been vegan for a decade and am committed to this lifestyle. The band Contravene (listen to the song “In The Name Of Convenience”) and crust music in general allowed me see the terrors of animal cruelty and factory farming. It is what made me turn and stay on a strict vegan diet. It is only an extended benefit that is a healthier way of life and is a wonderful way to help the environment. My husband and I, who is also vegan, met working at a vegan restaurant and he now is a full time veggie farmer. I’ve been helping him part time with that the past three years.
